Spacious holiday cottage featuring 4 ground floor bedrooms, comfortably accommodating up to 8 guests. The upstairs of the property boasts an impressive social/dining area, perfect for all types of gatherings and celebrations. This large open-plan space is bursting with character that comprises of oak floors, granite worktop, original King Post trusses and exposed oak beams dating back circa 400 years. Cruck'd Barn forms part of our Hurdlow Grange complex, there is a communal games room, equipped with a table tennis table and table football and abundance of walking and cycling routes right from your doorstep, as well as easy access to the Tissington and High Peak Trails. The market town of Bakewell and the spa town of Buxton are nearby, each offering its unique allure and attractions. This property is dog friendly and we charge £30 per dog for the duration of the stay.

Peak Venues was brought into being by three lifelong friends. Having spent over 15 years working together running bars, restaurants and hotels worldwide, Justin, Paul and Rachel chose to put down roots and settle in the stunning Peak District National Park. Keen to share their love of the Peak District with the world, they embarked on their first cottage restoration project, Hurdlow Grange. A derelict farm with an abundance of redeeming features, this unique property now hosts 6 stylish and welcoming holiday cottages, one of which is Cruck'd Barn.

Cruck'd Barn is part of our Hurdlow Grange site which we have lovingly restored from a derelict farm, bringing life back to the lovely hamlet of Hurdlow.

The location of the property is second to none with fabulous views of the surrounding countryside and close to the Tissington and High Peak trails. Walking distance to two wonderful country pubs.
