Indulge in the charm of our accommodation featuring three beautifully decorated bedrooms. Unwind in the luxury of one en suite and an additional family bathroom, ensuring a comfortable stay for up to 6 guests (or up to 8 with the use of the sofa bed at an extra cost). We welcome your four-legged companions to join in the retreat, providing a dog-friendly environment. This former cattle barn has been transformed into a deceptively spacious family haven, exuding style and sophistication. Nestled in the heart of a delightful village, our retreat is perfectly positioned in the Peak District, offering easy access to Bakewell, Chatsworth, and Haddon Hall within a short drive. Lace up your walking boots for explorations in the world-renowned hills or hop on your bikes to enjoy the nearby Monsal Trail. After a day of adventure, cosy up in front of the wood burner, or take a leisurely stroll to one of the charming village country pubs for a taste of local ale. This property is dog friendly and we charge £30 per dog for the duration of the stay.

We took the advertising of Shippon Barn over in 2018 as we saw the potential of the property being the perfect family holiday home due to its central location the Peak District, close to Bakewell, the Monsal Trail and the historic homes of Chatsworth and Haddon Hall,

The property is in a superb village location, with a couple of pubs and village shop less than a 2 minute walk away. From the doorstep there is an abundance of walks including Great Longstone Edge and accessing the Monsal Trail.
