Poplars Farm Barns, Brand new stunning thatched barn conversion

My husband Charlie and I moved from London in 2019 to this quiet patch of West Sussex to begin a new life in the countryside. In 2022 we completely renovated a falling down dairy barn and adjoining cart house to create a beautiful new conversion to use as guest accommodation. We love sharing our slice of this tranquil corner of rural Chichester with our guests and meeting people from all over the world who come to stay here. Guests particularly love our free roaming chickens!

We love our proximity to the beach (we are a 10 minute drive from West Wittering beach which is one of the most beautiful beaches in the country in our opinion!) and how remote it feels yet is still very accessible being 10 minutes to Chichester centre and a quick 1hr30 hop up the A3 to London. We love the sense of community here and how friendly everyone is.

Poplars Farm Barns is in the most peaceful setting yet is perfect for exploring if you want to get out and about. If staying at home is more your thing, then we've made sure it's so beautiful you won't want to leave. The property is design led, with thoughtful features throughout including stacks of lovely magazines to read during your stay, roll top baths for luxuriating in and a big open plan living space with a huge dining table for those all important celebration dinners we know our guests love to come here for. We supply our guests with stacks of recommendations to make sure you get the most out of your stay, and can give you details for organising private chefs, yoga instructors and pottery teachers who can all come to you in the comfort of the barns.
