The property itself is in a great location and mostly has everything one should expect. There were, however, two downsides. First, we were told we could check in at 3. When we arrived at 3:30, two guys were still cleaning the apartment, and we sat and had to wait for them to finish. That was awkward to say the least.More problematic, however, given the price we paid for this VRBO, was communication/air conditioning. We realized on the the very first night of our 4 day stay that the two bedroom air conditioning units were not working. They'd go on for 30 seconds and than shut down permanently. I emailed the apt contact late the first afternoon and received no immediate response. Luckily, it was not too hot yet, the main unit living room unit was working, and we kept the two bedroom doors open all night which kept the temperature reasonable, especially in the upstairs loft. I then emailed the contact person again the next morning (day 2). I received a very brief (once sentence note) that someone would come over in the afternoon to check on the non-working AC units. Whether anyone ever actually came by is unclear. There was NO FOLLOW UP from the apartment contact person, and the bedroom units remained 100% non-functioning for the remainder of our four day trip. This was frustrating as it undercut privacy (ability to shut the bedroom doors) and there was no follow up with us or concern as to whether the AC was looked at all or whether it could be resolved. Dissapointed.
