This tranquil town, which was formerly a fortified Anglo-Saxon village, is rich in history. It has a beautiful church with a roof that dates to the 15th century, and Thomas Telford lived there when the canal system was being built in the late 18th century. The town also offers a good selection of stores, bars, and eateries, as well as a tonne of entertainment on and near the nearby meres. Explore Colemere Country Park with its excellent animals and picturesque trails, take a stroll through Cremorne Gardens, go fishing or boating, spend some time there, or take a walk along the canal. a beautiful setting with something for everyone all year long.
