Nine Olives Hvar

The house is truly unlike any other holiday villa. The design has won awards.

It is very unusual in being purpose built as a holiday house, rather than just being a normal house used for holiday making.

Each of the four main bedrooms the same size, with a view of the sea and large ensuite shower room. They are large, well fitted and very comfortable. Each can either have a double bed or two single beds.

The fifth room, which has two single beds, forms a suite with one the main rooms. It is designed specially for families with children. It also works fine for adults because it can be accessed independently.

A bathroom (with a large bath tub) is shared by all the rooms. There is also a beautiful secluded outdoor shower, with hot and cold, in the garden.

The chapel style structure at the upper levels has the dining and kitchen area, with a lounge at the highest level, where the views are best. The dining room has a round table seating 10. There are also tables seating 10 on the roof terrace and in the garden.

The house has excellent natural ventilation, with cool breezes off the sea in the summer. It has also has ceiling fans and full thermostat controlled air conditioning.

The house faces north west, looking directly into the sunset. There are fantastic sunsets most evenings.

The beautiful swimming pool is heated to 29 degrees in cooler months. It is treated by hydrolysis, with no chemicals.

The house is 100 m from a lovely swimming area and beach, with a beautiful beach bar. A short walk along the harbourside leads to the town centre, where there are many bars, restaurants, shops and other things to do. Stari Grad is one of the oldest continuously occupied towns in Europe, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

There is great walking and cycling from the house and many nice day trips.
