Dog-Friendly Luxury Lodge: Retreat from City to Country Bliss with Hot Tub

There’s nothing quite as relaxing as staying in a Woodland Lodge with your own private Hot Tub, for a few days! Away from the hustle & bustle, you will have no choice but to relax & enjoy. For an extra touch of indulgence, why not book a private woodland sauna session, complete with a cold water drench shower and time to relax on the sauna deck?

This idyllic location on the Essex/Suffolk Border has so much to offer and Toppesfield Hall is the perfect place from which to explore it!

Book a Woodland Lodge for the perfect retreat; nestled within a small expand of woodland trees and surrounded by open fields. And YES, they are Dog Friendly and have secure gardens, with fencing all the way round (approx. height 1.2m)!

The stunning open plan kitchen/living/sleeping area with large patio doors, connect the inside with the generous outside garden and really give you the sense of being in the thick of nature and countryside, without sacrificing comfort or quality. When night-time falls, pull across the privacy curtain, to enclose your tranquil sleeping area.

There are currently two lodges separated by cherry laurel and low level fencing, to ensure you have your very own private space and each Hot Tub is screened for privacy too and leads straight off the decked veranda.

The surrounding fields offer a host of walking routes if you are feeling active, and our village can be reached within 8 minutes. Here you will find a Park, a Dog Friendly Pub, Local Shop, Post Office and Toppesfield Brewery too!

Alternatively, just relax, light the fire pit and put your feet up; soak in the massaging hot tub and just watch the world go by. Or, if you are feeling a little more active, you can enjoy a game of Tennis (located within the woodland area too).

There is dedicated parking available just a short walk from the Lodges (within 150 yards). There is a working farm in the next courtyard along from the main Hall.

Our Woodland Lodges are Perfectly placed to explore Suffolk/Essex. They have been designed & built in 2022 to a very high standard and have everything you need for a great holiday. Strategically positioned to allow the outside in, for the ultimate holiday!

Toppesfield Hall is set in the countryside, and our guinea fowl and other local wildlife add a charming touch to your stay. Please note: they may be vocal at times including night-times.

As you get closer to the Essex/Suffolk Border, you will be sure to notice a greener outlook.

Driving through Toppesfield Village you will see our wonderful pub with its spacious outdoor garden for children to play and dogs to roam. You will also pass St Margaret’s Church, our community shop and post office.

This village is full of natural beauty and much character too. There is a park for the children and the village green provides a safe haven for family picnics and games.

Toppesfield Village can be accessed via a short 8 min stroll across the grassed footpath from Toppesfield Hall or from the main country road.
