We were happy to host this family. I’m happy to address any issues our wonderful guests may have. The day before their arrival, an electrician had checked the stove and oven and checked all wiring and everything was working including the oven. Next day, Cindy was smelling an odor and we immediately hired a plumbing company after hour rates to come out and check for any odd odors. We went above and beyond as hosts to help. Come to find out, The smell was coming from some rotten cantalopes they brought that were going bad in the refrigerator. We appreciate feed back from our guests and appreciate it and do everything we can to be better. We were very fair with this family even though, our maximum limit of guests is 6 and not 7 but I never said a word. It’s in HOUSE RULES TOO. Saying there were no fire alarms in the cabin was simply not true. I showed everyone in the kitchen exactly where it was. I enjoy pleasing all our guests and this is my honest feed back and I will continue to do better for all my guests.

2 of the most beautiful people I have ever met. They couldn’t have had more fun. Not only did they enjoy themselves with all the activities but we have gained two new friends. Unpleasable!

Inaccurate complaints; 1) Owner should have known the cabin was inaccessible this time of year. Response, we live on site year round. 2) Owner cancelled the reservation the day before. Response, reservations should be cancelled if a property is inaccessible because of the largest snow storm of the year. (4 feet). What would be the response of the complaintant if we had withheld the snow situation information from him? 3) Seven days for a refund. Vrbo does not fund the owner prior to guest arrival. Owner never had guest funds. Refunds in this situation were between the guest and Vrbo, not with the owner. 4) Guest complained owner was annoyed and mad. Owner never talked to guest. 5) Owner charged an extra fee for complaining. Owner never received any payment whatsoever, much less an extra fee for complaint. More untruths. 6). Guest says he drove right to the property. If so, why not come right on in. Owner has photo showing the cabin and snow on the ground. Again, owner lives on sight and was here. Seems like it would have been an easy fix. 7) Guest complaint shady host. Response; please read all other reviews from guests who were there and you determine who is shady. ADVICE TO OTHER OWNERS. Stay clear of this guy! And, we did not give him 5 star review either..
