Perla Penthouse, Lalzit Bay, Albania

This contemporary penthouse apartment for 8 people is just 500m from the beautiful Lalzit Bay. It makes the ideal holiday base for a family or friends who want a fun and relaxing stay in Albania. As part of a condominium the apartment offers access to a shared swimming pool.

The pool can be accessible with an additional charge that must be paid on the spot. The fee for 1 umbrella and 2 sun loungers is approximately 15 euro per day. The beach has public & private areas with umbrellas and sun loungers that if wished to be used, an additional fee of 10+/- euro  (depending on the location) needs to be paid.

On the 3rd floor of a modern residence, the penthouse benefits from an extensive, partly shaded balcony which provides additional living space with an outdoor seating area, sun loungers (to be paid on spot) and a dining area for meals al fresco.

Indoors, there is a light-filled living area with a corner sofa, armchair and flat-screen TV. The new, open-plan kitchen consists of smart fitted units and is fully equipped with a cooker hob, oven, dishwasher and a fridge/freezer. The dining area is adjacent to the kitchen, in addition to the table and chairs there is a second sofa here and large glass doors which lead out to the main balcony and another door out to a separate terrace.

Sleeping
Bedroom 1: The master bedroom is full of light, thanks to the glass doors that lead out to the balcony. It is furnished with a double bed, wardrobe and dressing table.
Bedroom 2: The second bedroom has 2 single beds and a wardrobe.
Bedroom 3: This airy bedroom also has glass doors onto a balcony, plus a double bed and wardrobe.
Extra: The sofa in the main living area converts into a double bed.

The apartment has 2 independent bathrooms. Each has a shower, basin and WC.

Location
Lalzit Bay is one of the most popular holiday destinations in Albania. It is known for its sandy, child-friendly beach, good restaurants and bars. There is plenty to do on the beach including scuba diving, jet-skiing, water-skiing and a children’s playground. For self-catering there are several good supermarkets close by, as well as some smaller shops.

Away from the coast there are many charming hill towns, including Kruje (1 hour) which is home to 5th-century Kruje Castle, as well as Kruje Bazaar which dates back to the 17th century. Here you can find authentic Albanian carpets, textiles and ceramics. There are also hiking routes in the surrounding mountains which range from the easy to the challenging.

Tirana is a 45-minute drive and makes a great day trip. It is an eclectic mix of Ottoman, Soviet and Fascist architecture. The city is easy to explore on foot. Blloku is an exciting, young area, full of cafés and interesting boutiques. The main square – Skanderbeg Square is a must-see. The city’s markets offer a window onto everyday life. The New Market, Pazari Ri offers a wide range of local produce.

Tirana International Airport is just a 40-minute drive from the apartment.
