Serena Bay is just a few meters from the apartment; the area’s traditional restaurants are very close to the south, and restaurants of various price ranges and styles are located to the north—no transportation is needed to reach them. The Enjoy Casino also offers a variety of dining options as well as nightlife entertainment. During the summer, we recommend the various activities for children that take place along the beach; which take place all along the avenue and are easily accessible on foot. You can also rent bicycles or cars to explore the bay with the children, or visit movie theaters and children’s entertainment centers on the way to downtown, at Mall Plaza La Serena and Mall Puerta del Mar. There is also another major shopping center in Coquimbo: Mall VIVO. During the summer season in Caleta de Coquimbo, there are pirate ship tours that cruise around the bay—it’s a fun experience.
