Our third return visit, which says it all - works really well for us. Great location, house is always clean, has all we require and extras and hosts are very responsive. This is our only choice when in the area.

Beautiful home, in a quiet location.

My family and i were pleasantly surprised by the home. The rooms are all lovely and big, decorated nicely and clean. I would definitely book again when i come to visit family.I would say i think the bedrooms could do with tvs in, especially for the price we are paying. Also, the single room had no furnishings except for the bed. A bedside table, lamp, and drawers are a must. We only stayed for two days, so my son used his suitacse. But for longer visits, i think that would need to be added.These are all minor things. Again, it was a lovely stay, and I'd definitely recommend it.Thanks for having us.

Beautifully clean good sized house

Had a great stay here, we were at a wedding at Morley Barn which is literally 5 mins down the road so a great location for us. The house is on a newish development and it was nice and quiet, yet very near to major road networks. It was all superbly clean throughout with very good showers. It was warm - too warm in fact, we turned the heating off!!!! If you want to do some proper cooking for 5-7 people, the kitchen is a touch on the sparse side for cooking stuff, we only had breakfast so didn't matter to us. Can't comment on dishwasher, cooker, washing machine or dryer as we didn't use them. Overall a great place if you're in the area and in need of a few nights stay.

Good stay with some constructive feedback

Booking and communication good. House nice and as advertised. Good location and easy to find and close to local amenities. Ok for a couple of nights. These are my constructive observations/recommendations: 1. Please supply bath mats in the bathrooms. There was nothing and the floors were soaked after a shower as the shower screen leaked. Also for Health and Safety. 2. Towels are very thin and small. You may need to supplement with your own if you're visiting and this kind of thing bothers you. 3. All the beds and bedding are functional but basic. Foam pillows and duvets. Beds not very comfortable. Biggest bed is not in the master bedroom which I thought was odd and led us to sleep in another room, which was a tad annoying. 4. Kitchen functional but I found the cooking trays etc to be very minimal. Only two small baking trays. Small saucepans etc. As we had family visiting with us it was difficult to cook using the bare minimum. 5. The dining table only seats four. So we couldn't all sit together for a meal! (The house sleeps 7). 6. Sofas only seat four so again, not enough space for everyone to sit comfortably.

Weekend away with friends

We stay here to go to Haydock races good location for this, no spa at location as advertised. But nice place. Would stay again.
