Well organized, excellent and clear communication from host. The home was wonderfully located near the National Park and private. Fully equipped kitchen, nice ambience in the home with artsy touches. Driveway to park a little harrowing in the rain but doable and secure.

I spent 3 weeks at CasaRosa, the description is exactly as written. As a writer I search for properties off the beaten path for seclusion and comfort. You won’t be disappointed there, its a 2.5 k walk down the mountain to a small grocery story, 4.0 to a larger supermarket. I did not have a car, plenty of taxis to take you back to the cabin. This family run and they are extremely helpful. The welcome banana bread was a tasty treat.

Location is near the cloud forest which was why I booked here. I didn’t hear anything from the host leading up to the stay so we drove to the house near check-in time. Could not access the property and there is no cell service in that particular area so had to drive back to town. I was told the house was not ready & my check in was delayed so we ate dinner in town. Property is cute but the house and linens had a musty smell. Kitchen was under equipped but workable. We checked out early after finding large bugs in the kitchen drawers. Unfortunately the kids left their suitcases open and bugs had to be emptied from those too. Has potential but lacking attentiveness.

Reasonably priced cabin

We were pleased with the low cost and close proximity to our excursions. The home had a slight damp smell & feel. The door in the extra bedroom, had a gap to the outside which led to some creepy guests during our stay. Overall a good experience with what we paid for.

Relaxing stay in Monteverde.

We had a great stay at Casa Ira Rosa. The host was very helpful and responsive and check-in went smoothly. Perfect spot for a family to stay. Close to all the activities but with a safe and secluded feel. Couldn't ask for more.

Nice house

Very nice, only thing I would change is the futons were so uncomfortable! It needs a good loveseat or chairs for relaxing in the evenings!

Immersed in the jungle

The property was as described. Very much one with the jungle. Getting dark by time we arrived and so a little challenging to find. GRented GPS was not overly helpful until we set Trapp Family Lodge as the location and it was immediately after that. Amenities if the house worked but it does not have a full oven, just a toaster oven, and some basics like paper towel would be nice. Gabriela was very easy to communicate with and super helpful. Very much enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful!

We loved this place! Lovely and quiet place to relax, near the national park. We had some challenges getting in the house, but the owner was helpful and responsive. Great stay!

Beautiful home in the forest

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Ira Rosa in Monteverde. It is close enough to walk to the cloud forest preserve, but be sure to head down to the parking area below the house location to obtain your entrance tickets first! The home is cozy and spacious enofor a a family and has a decent kitchen to prepare your own meals. We loved it!

Great cabin in the jungle

This house was great for a laid back hangout for our family while in Monteverde. In the jungle and very close to Monteverde Cloud Forest entrance. The house had everything we needed to make meals and plenty of space for the 4 of us to spread out and relax.

Very comfortable and cute place in a perfect location!

This place was perfect for my husband and I while visiting Curicancha Reserve and Monteverde Cloud Forest. There are 3 bedrooms so there was plenty of space. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals there. The place was clean, well-supplied, and very cute. We sipped our morning coffee on the enclosed porch.My only regret is that we didn't figure out the washer situation until it was too late to line dry our clothes. My pre-stay message to the host went unanswered. Not sure why given other reviews. Overall, it was an excellent stay.reaching out again. our last day, and iI

2 nights was not enough

This place was amazing - very well appointed, very comfortable, all the amenities, and located very close to the park and downtown. Hosts were clear and responsive, check in was easy, the WiFi worked great - it looked just like the pictures and felt like you were deep in the forest. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Cozy cabin!

Our family of 2 adults and 2 teens loved this cabin. There were plenty of warm blankets and we enjoyed lighting a fire during the cooler evenings. It was so cozy that our teens wanted to return to the cabin just to relax when we had free time. The location was perfect with a short walk to the Cloud Forest.

Perfect little place in the mountains.

We really enjoyed our stay. Felt tucked right into the cloud forest. Was so nice being able to just walk up the hill to explore the Monteverde park. The fresh banana bread was such a treat. Would stay here again for sure.

Absolute jewel

A stone's throw from the park. Easy access to the town. Fantastic cottage with ample space. The roads around Monteverde are terrible but if you rent a 4 x 4, you'll be fine.

Cozy cottage in the foreat

Rustic charm, comfortable, cozy place with lots of seating areas, including a porch. Perfect landing spot between hikes and outings. Super comfortable beds. Really enjoyed our stay. Close to Monteverde Cloud forest and Curi Cancha Reserve.

Cabin in the rain forest

The location of this place was phenomenal. Just a short walk away from the entrance to the Monteverde Cloud Forest Biological Preserve. So many windows made you feel like you were really part of the forest. Homemade banana bread from the host was a very nice touch. The only downside was the musty smell.
