Being a downstairs condo with an active young child above was the cause of the noise. The bathroom was dirty, the shower was broken, there was hair in the drain.

Great location, great condo

This unit was exactly as advertised- nearly perfect! There were starter supplies (soap, towels, tissues, etc.) provided (which was much appreciated), the bed was comfortable, the AC and fans worked great, and the TV was awesome- many channels offered and we could rewind shows! The location is fantastic, across from (2 minute walk to) a beach, from which we watched many beautiful sunsets. The other residents/guests at the condo complex were quiet and we always felt safe. My only complaint would be that we found some of the towels and a pillowcase were stained; at least, we're hoping that it was stained and not dirty from previous guests. But other than that, the place felt and looked very clean and updated! I'd recommend this place to stay at during your visit to Hawaii!

Property was just what we were looking for ,,, Within easy walking distance of the ocean, a park & the beach. Well located, safe, with an easy distance to restaurants and shopping.

Well appointed and good location

The unit was well appointed, it had everything I needed, except a vaccuum to help keep the floors clean. The location was perfect for what I needed. The pool area was nice and easy to access. I had a problem one day with one of the outlets and it was quickly resolved. Would not hesitate to stay again.

My favorite location for visiting all sides of the island

Staying in north Kihei is great if you’re looking to visit all sides of the island. Kihei bay surf is in a good location. This unit met our needs, especially at the price. AC worked fine. Great sunsets across the street.

We stayed 9 days and just provided 4 towels, when i asked i was told to wash them at the laudry facility, instead of offering more? Jordyn was terrible, no compassion to guests. Can be better as the location is perfect just across the beach, and bus line is really accessible, tub was so rusty also.

The unit needs serious upgrading/ remodeling. The shower tub was a disaster, it has rust stains.

Bed was very uncomfortable, mattress was sagging in the middle and too soft for comfort. Everything was very basic setup, and not worth the money. Kitchen sink faucet aerator was splashing all over. AC did not perform most of the time, wife was very upset. Shower tub got clogged, had to use draining. Motel 6 would be an upgrade as compared to this unit. I need to stop right here. In short, the owner needs to consider spending on remodeling. On the positive side,the office staff were very friendly, checking process was very smooth. My wife left her iPad at the unit after check out, which was returned to the office by the cleaning crew- thank you for the honesty.

The rental was exactly what we needed/expected. It was clean overall and had everything we needed. The property manager was very nice and checked in with us often. It was a wonderful week!

Wonderful stay!

The studio we stayed at was wonderfully convenient! Beach access and a park were directly across the street, as well as the Humpback whale sanctuary. Further up the street were the shopping center, which was handy. Pool access was a nice option to have too. Good for just a couple cruising through Kihei!

Kikei Just as Great

We stayed here recently and felt that we got great value in the room, location, amenities and quietness of the complex as we were around behind away from the road. This end of Kihei you can take walks in either direction (South or North) and even stroll along the beach at any time in the day. Just across the street you can watch sunsets or throw down a blanket and watch kite boarding on those windy days. The unit is simple with linens, AC, a queen bed, TV and internet. You look out on to tennis courts that are rarely used. Just beyond the courts is a nice pool and hot tub with a large patio area. Quite a few people just hang around the pool during the day. The property managers were always very responsive to emails and questions - very important. The unit is accessed by a simple pass code so you never have to worry about losing a key. If I had to offer suggestions: - I would say the WiFi is pretty poor - up and down all the time - It would be nice to have some cleaning products in the unit since we stayed two weeks - The bed is going to need replacing soon as it "crunches" at times. Still sleep perfectly well. Overall we were pleased at the value we received.

Misleading

The photos and description are misleading. The photos show a perfectly staged, updated suite but this is not what the unit looked like when we got there. The unit was clean, and provided the basics but it is very run down and in need of some TLC. This unit is scarcely stocked. The pool and bbq area require no glass, yet there were no bbq tools nor was anything supplied not glass. There was no tupperware for leftovers or wrap of any type. We purposely choose rentals with kitchens so that we can cook while on vacation. There were no dish towels in the kitchen, which made drying the hand washed dishes difficult (no dishwasher). There were only 2 beach towels, but there were 3 beach umbrellas. There was a swiffer, but no clothes. We eventually found a broom in the back of the closet but no dustpan. A very mixed up mismash of items that made planning a challenge some days, and there were extra costs we would have prefered not to have. The overall complex is very nice, well taken care of, and in a good location within Kihei but I would recommend a different unit as this one is not ready for guests. It feels like someone threw it together with no thought about what a traveler would need.

Great stay on Maui

Suite was clean and had everything you would need. Close to the beach. Only slight negative was that it was a bit far out of Kiehi (on the outskirts). But still a great and very enjoyable stay.
