Imagine yourself staying at Villa Vorno, traditional stone house surrounded by olive trees and moutains. You wake up to the song of cicadas, dive into the swimming pool before picking fruits and vegetables in the garden for your breakfast on the large terrace. You get ready for a tour in Agios Nikolaos Crete, close to the property. At the end of the day, you relax on the terrace and cook in the outside oven. Slow moments and Greek vibes guaranteed!

The property:
Villa Vorno is a stone house boasting a private pool, stunning moutain & garden views, a large outdoor area with barbecue and oven, garden with fruits & greens. The villa is equipped with photovoltaic panels. It welcomes up to 6 guests (3 bedrooms).

Pool dimensions: 6m x 3,5m x 1,5m

Nestled near Agios Nikolaos, the villa offers a captivating experience. Don’t miss the chance to explore:

Stunning Views, Beautiful Property, Attention to Detail

We spent 4 nights at this property, but wish we'd booked for longer! A family of 6 (3 teens and 1 tween) we have booked a villa holiday every year for 12+yrs!, and we found Villa Vorno was the perfect set up for us. The panoramic view is stunning and the villa is stylish and modern with a nod to traditional Cretan design. The villa was extremely clean with lots of attention to detail. George was kind enough to meet us after our very late arrival (1am!) and show us the way up the road to the villa. We always hire a car, and your own transport is a must as it is a way off the main road. The location however was ideal for us, with no neighbouring properties staying at Villa Vorno it feels like you are in the heart of Crete. A benefit of its location is that it is slightly cooler than the bottom of the hill, and with the clever design of the villa the outside space offers both sun and shelter with beautiful aspects. The pool overlooks the view, and was perfect size for us. The pool does not have a poolside deck and you access the pool from one side. The outside kitchen with bbq and wood fired pizza oven were a big hit with the family! And we enjoyed our meals al fresco looking out. The service received at Villa Vorno was second to none, and we felt truly looked after (by contrast, we followed the villa stay up with a few nights at a plush all-inclusive hotel - the villa felt far superior!) We would highly recommend for a truly beautiful Cretan escape for the family.

Etre seul et au calme.mais

Belle villa dans l'ensemble. Une beau point de vue, de l'espace intérieure et extérieure. Cependant il y a un point à voir: l'acces qui est un trop long chemin de cailloux en montagne. Coté equipement c'est tres bien pour faire du bbq, le pdj, mais vous êtes limité en accessoires... pas de passoire pour la salade ou les pates ?!. Piscine et solarium ok. Chambres spacieuses, mais sol en bois, donc un peu bruyant. À améliorer, les rideaux, car trop de jour dans les chambres. Une sdb etage pour les 3 chambres. La seconde est à l entree coté piscine. Nous avons eu un jolie panier d'accueil.Merci. Village à 15 minutes avec bonne auberge... 2 autres à 20/25 minutes.
