Enter our sparkling, clean, furnished private 3 bedroom oasis, with fully stocked kitchen. This house is situated 15 minutes by car from Sydney, and is completely renovated. The heat pumps act as an air conditioner in the hot months which gives quite a reprieve from the heat! This retreat has a double driveway, a private yard and deck with a variety of exterior chairs, where your view shows a windmill. Close by are a couple of walking trails, a lake, oceanfront Beach, lighthouse and Fort Petrie to visit. We also include breakfast items for you to have upon your arrival.

    Clean and new with fresh bread

    A nice new mobile home with two bedrooms and a full kitchen. Close to New Waterford and Lighthouse. Just off the highway but quiet. Good queen bed. Single is a bit small and lumpy. Nice big bathroom. Fresh made bread and eggs made great French toast for us. Suggested improvements: grab handle in the shower, hood fan over the stove. We had a pleasant couple of days visiting Sydney and Louisbourg.

    Looks good in pics

    When we first arrived toilet required flushing, the bath tub was stained on the bottom and a smell that was being masked by an electronic freshner. The “deck” was at the most 4x8 with a lounger and a couple of fold up chairs. The previous add mentioned having breakfast available however what we found in the fridge was a bowl of eggs, a half empty glass bottle of milk and a few slices of bread in the fridge that the host said was homemade along with some packets of instant Quaker Oats . It sleeps three not four as there is double bed in one room and a single in the other both. Dirty dishes left in the dishwasher, food particles on the inside of the door. People are charged a 75 dollar host fee and there is paint on the bathroom floor. We left the next day and tried to get a refund for the second nite and are still waiting. The property looked great in the add however my opinion is that the host embellished the advertisement and the amenities that were included. I would advise others not to make the same mistake as we did.
