Hamilton Lodge sits in a great position on Felmoor Country Park, Northumberland.

The lodge offers a generous sized open plan living / dining and kitchen area, with the hallway leading to the master bedroom (king-size bed, TV, fitted wardrobes and en-suite toilet). Just off the hallway is the twin bedroom (wall mounted TV), and separate bathroom with shower.

Hamilton Lodge has a lovely outdoor space, comprising of secure terrace, hot tub sunken into the decking, outdoor furniture, and a gate to the small open field behind the property.

With central heating, feature fire, Smart TV & Sky, a PS4 and free wifi, Hamilton Lodge is the perfect, year round, holiday home. Pets welcome (small charge), child friendly, great for family, couples or friends - a great chill out space and an excellent space to explore all that Northumberland has to offer.

We had a lovely holiday, there's plenty to do in the surrounding area and the lodge was nice.The tv in the bedroom only worked on 1 night and the shower head needs to be replaced but apart from those small things it was very nice and we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday, especially the hot tub.

The lodge is situated on a very good plot on the park .. lovely location and hottub not overlooked.. lodge was very comfortable

Not what we expected

Hamilton Lodge – Our Experience We stayed at Hamilton Lodge for a weekend and, while we were grateful to have accommodation, the lodge was quite dated and would benefit from some upgrades to the interior. On arrival at the park, everything seemed okay, although the lodge/caravan itself was certainly not one of the higher-end accommodations on the park. We also felt that it could have had a more thorough clean before our arrival, with a little more attention to detail needed. That said, we do want to give credit where it’s due. Hamira Holidays stepped in and found us this accommodation, which was extremely helpful given the circumstances. Without their assistance, we would have potentially lost a substantial amount of money, as we had already booked several golf courses for the boys we had taken away with us for the weekend. So, a genuine thank you to Hamira Holidays for helping us out when they did — without them, the situation could have been considerably worse. Would I have chosen Hamilton Lodge myself if I had seen it beforehand or visited the park first? Probably not. It simply wasn’t the standard of accommodation I would normally choose for a holiday. Overall, we made the best of the situation and enjoyed our time away, but the lodge itself would definitely benefit from some investment, updating and a more thorough clean before guests arrive. One positive was the hot tub and the lovely ladies who maintain it, thank you

Great base.

Fantastic place to go up and down A1, as off the main road there is so much to see. Lodge was clean and well stocked with essentials you may have forgotten. Hand wash in bathrooms and kitchen is good. Comfy furniture outside to use whilst people in hot tub. Good distance between lodges. Not a loud park which was great. Bouncy slide for the kids at the club house. Grounds of the park were super clean and tidy.
