気になった点 : 清潔度、チェックイン、コミュニケーション、掲載情報の正確さ
We booked this property 12 months in advance of our stay for a highly anticipated solar eclipse 2026 family vacation. I received multiple email confirmations leading up to and on the day of check-in confirming our booking was guaranteed. At check-in we drove up to the property and the cleaning crew was still onsite. They quickly told me they were not scheduled to have guests until the following day. Long story short, the owner/host double booked the property and we were without a place to stay for three nights. This was after the three hour drive up from Reykjavik. The fact that this was peak summer season AND this was the week of the once in a lifetime solar eclipse made this an absolute nightmare. The owner was non-communicative and provided zero assistance in trying to assist us in finding somewhere else. In fact, after I made initial contact with him on the day of checkin he did nothing but ignore my phone calls.
