Charming gîte in the south west of France

Charming gîte for 4 people, in the lovely town of Mirepoix ( medieval town centre). Walking distance from the town centre and supermarket, no need to take the car! Plenty to explore in the area, close to the Pyrenees, Carcassonne and Toulouse ( airports), as well as Foix, Andorra, Spain….
South of France weather obviously, Mirepoix hosts a big market every Monday as well a festival every second weekend.
The flat has an outside terrace and a 5x10 m pool.
Please note that, even though the pool is fully functional, it is not totally finished, which is reflected in the price.

What a perfect week! Everything we needed inside the property which was super clean and the amazing pool which was just perfect to cool off in during the heat! WiFi great. Franco was so welcoming and helpful,ensuring a wonderful relaxing week in the sunshine. The supermarket is right opposite the gite and the beautiful Mirapoix town square with cafes/restaurants and shops within a quick easy stroll Will definitely be returning next year! Jo&Tina x

Excellent séjour en famille ! L'appartement est superbe, impeccable et très confortable. Nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous. Un grand merci à notre hôte Franco qui est aux petits soins. La localisation est juste parfaite, pas besoin de voiture. La piscine est la cerise sur le gâteau ! On repart avec de magnifiques souvenirs.

The welcome/check-in from Franco gave us all the key information we required, and much more beside.Kitchen contained everything we could need and were clean and all in good condition.and the wi-fi was strong and reliable.Plenty of space to park the car and the property is very handy for the very lovely town centre of Mirepoix, literally just across the road. Equally handy is the local Super-U supermarket and Aldi also not far away, though local shops do much better bread, croissants etc.The pool is a real highlight, seems bigger than described, a lovely place to sit, relax and swim.Cannot emphasise enough how friendly, informative and helpful the host was, defintiely a real plus of this property. And Mirepoix itself is a delightful place (the July festival and the weekly markets a real plus) with lots to do in the surrounding area, including cycling to other towns/villages on the Voie Verte.

Cosy place and great location

The flat is in a fantastic location. Literally 5 minutes into the town square for restaurants and bars. Super U supermarket is on the corner and electric car charging point is two minutes away. Great base to explore or simply relax by the private pool that isn’t overlooked by neighbouring properties.
