Host & Stay | Porter Cottage

Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We're thrilled to hear that you and your husband enjoyed your stay at Porter Cottage and that it felt like a home away from home. It's great to know the location worked well for exploring the heart of Alnwick too. We truly appreciate you choosing to stay with us during your travels from the US, and we hope to welcome you back if you’re ever in Northumberland again!

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your experience did not meet expectations, particularly regarding the cleanliness of the cottage. This is certainly not the standard we aim to provide, and we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused, especially having to clean upon arrival. Your comments regarding practicality and the overall presentation have been noted, and we will be addressing these with our housekeeping and management teams to ensure improvements are made. We truly appreciate you highlighting these issues, as it helps us improve for future guests. We’re sorry we fell short on this occasion and hope we may have the opportunity to provide you with a much better experience in the future.
