Lovely property in a great position for visiting York & York Races. Would be a bit of a squeeze for a group of 7 adults. Lots of nice cafes & bars at the end of the road. We luckily got the free parking space outside too. Would book again.

Great place to stay. Short, easy walk from train station and to main attractions. Delightful neighbourhood! House is situated just back from the local main street that has many independent and friendly grocers, cafes and restaurants. Young and old enjoyed our stay (family aged 6-76)

Very nice and practical house in a great neighborhood, Bishopthorpe Street.

Very nice and practical house in a great neighborhood, Bishopthorpe Street. We enjoyed the shops and restaurants. York is a wonderful, very livable city. We were able to immerse ourselves in York's life for a week. The house is ideally located on the edge of the Old Town and close to Rowntree Park, with tennis courts, a playground, and plenty of opportunities for play and relaxation.

Fabulous home, clean and great location.

Everything was easy and we managed to get a parking spot! House had everything we could need, and beds were comfortable with lovely linen. Great location. Hot tub wasn’t very strong with the jets but maybe we couldn’t work it out. Otherwise excellent. Thank you.

Family friendly house, in convenient location

Ebor House was in an ideal location - a very short walking distance to “Bishy Road” with its quirky cafes and eateries. Also only a short walk to the centre of York. We had only booked for a 4 night stay but could easily have stayed longer. Beds were very comfortable and the 3 toilets and 2 showers in the property are a god-send when you have teenage children! The hot tub a lovely way to relax after a long day sight seeing too. The only gripe we had was the sofa - it was quite uncomfortable and impossible to get up from as so low, we ended up sitting in the kitchen more often than not - please consider changing it for future guests, I’m sure other people will find this an issue too!
