Our stay in Leicester
The property is just as it is displayed in the description; tidy, clean, and well-kept. The location is excellent; in a nice, quiet neighborhood within easy walking distance to great take-away and a convenience store. We had these difficulties: We could not reach the owner as he was out of the country in Asia. We had given up on getting instructions on getting into the house when he reached out to us 45 minutes before check-in via email. We were able to connect with him via WhatsApp after that; but we had been trying for 3 days to connect and were looking at hotel options when we finally connected. That was stressful.Once we moved in, we found no binder with the usual instructions for customers. We were unsure what to do with trash, there was no info on wifi password, and no instructions on how to operate the TV or appliances. We received some information via WhatsApp, but a standard binder with information would have been very welcome.Be prepared for the following:The large TV requires that you have an Amazon Prime account to operate it. Bring that information with you, or know how to launch using your cell phone.There is no coffee maker of any sort. There is a kettle, so plan on getting instant coffee or plan on tea.I would stay there again, but I would hope for an instruction binder, a coffee maker of any variety, and a comfortable connection with the owner at least a couple of days in advance.
