Independent apartment at 40 meters. from the sea comprising: entrance hall, living room with sofa bed for 2 people, double bedroom, kitchen, bathroom with shower, private courtyard with washing machine and outdoor shower. Ideal for a relaxing holiday. The seafront of Catona, reachable on foot, is equipped with private beaches and free beach interludes.

From Catona you can reach:

REGGIO CALABRIA which is 10km away, where it is possible to visit the Museum of Magna Graecia where the famous Riace Bronzes are preserved; the Falcomatà promenade, overlooking a unique position in the entire Mediterranean, is the natural extension of the historic center of the city and is the unmissable stop for the people of Reggio and all lovers of the charm of the sea. Defined as the most beautiful kilometer in Italy by Gabriele D'Annunzio.

VILLA SAN GIOVANNI (4 km.) from where it is possible to cross the Strait of Messina by ship or by fast hydrofoil for a visit to the city of Messina.

SCILLA (15 Km.), a town at the entrance to the strait, with its picturesque Chianalea and houses overlooking the sea.

GAMBARIE IN ASPROMONTE (30 km) tourist and ski resort on the slopes of Aspromonte.

Our host was wonderful. He graciously gave us a beach umbrella for the free beach. He also checked in with us on a cloudy day to let us know if we needed a place to go since it was cloudy for the beach. His map of the area that he left us of key items- grocery market, bus stop, etc was so helpful for us getting around town. We would stay there again.

Très bien indiqué accueil chaleureux de Diego .Toutes lees consignes pour faire un tres agréable séjour. La plage etr surtou t ne pas oubler d'aller ou diego nous donne à faire des visites.Envoûtante CALABRE

Schöne Ferienwohnung

Erstmal vielen Dank an Diego und seine Frau. Beide sind herzlich und hilfsbereit. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und sauber - das Schlafzimmer perfekt. Wir waren insgesamt sehr zufrieden.Einen Stern Abzug gab es weil die Küchenausstattung zum Selbstversorgen etwas spärlich war. Kein Küchenmesser, auch kein Schneidbrett oder Salatsieb.Das Bad ist neu und hochwertig. Auch der kleine Innenhof war perfekt zum Wäschetrocknen der Strandtücher. Und dort befand sich sogar eine Waschmaschine.Das Schlafzimmer ist groß und super ausgestattet. Das Wohnzimmer hat eine super Schlafcouch. Leider gibt es im Wohnzimmer keine Klimaanlage. Das Fenster die ganze Nacht geöffnet zu lassen habe ich mich nicht getraut. Somit ist die Wohnung für Paare besser geeignet. Da wir zwei Freundinnen sind und eine im Wohnzimmer schlafen musste war das ohne Klimaanlage nicht so optimal.Der Strand ist wirklich ganz nah - nur ein paar Meter von der Wohnung entfernt.Leider sind die Strandabschnitte, die nicht mit zu mietenden Schirmen und Liegen ausgestattet sind nicht sehr sauber. Auch die Sonnenschirmvermietung gab uns weil wir Hunde dabei hatten nur einen Platz im hintersten Eck. Schade denn die Hunde verbrennen sich im heißen Sand die Füßchen auf dem Weg zum Meer. Sogar wir hatten Probleme trotz Adiletten ohne Schmerzen zum Meer zu gelangen. Dafür können die Vermieter der Unterkunft nichts. Trotzdem wird es hier erwähnt, damit die Gemeinde dafür sorgt, dass der Strand sauberer wird.

Grazie mille per la vostra recensione.. faremo tesoro dei vostri suggerimenti e doteremo la cucina con gli accessori che ci avete consigliato. cercheremo anche di installare il secondo condizionatore in soggiorno.
