A luxurious, peaceful haven with sea views and a garden for children to run around in. Coastal walks

As I expected, breath taking views, peaceful and tranquil. Sam’s Sunflower trip was very enjoyable and a hit with the children and adults of all ages. Farm stores to buy fruit and vegetables and all things delicious.

House nice, but stay affected by host communication issues and didn’t get the house we paid for. Host has more than one property at Yachthaven. We were given access to Resolution, not the one in the website photos, Belle Isle. First time ever I had to ask VBROcare to get host to tell me where we were staying the next day. Received the information on morning of arrival. The host said there had been a “sprinkler issue”, and that she “should” be able to move us into Belle Isle (“best” property) during the week. Host communication response poor – no response to multiple texts (to her 2 phones and WhatsApp). She arrived Wednesday morning saying we could move after 11:30, and “take our time”, but at 12:00 cleaners arrived saying they had been told by host we’d be out by 12.00. Half our party were already out for the day, and the host had already decided to put new guests into Belle Isle. The house lacked essential basic items. Half a dozen plates, four drinking glasses, six mismatched wine glasses, not enough cutlery or towels, no chopping boards, nor bath mats. Host was not aware of this but did bring new kitchenware during the week. Wardrobe hinges jammed shut, faulty flashing lights and multiple maintenance issues (maybe not been reported before so reported all 17 issues). No instructions for anything nor information. Had to ask for Wifi code. Overall the Island is lovely and the houses are nice, but the issues with quality and communication made it a stressful stay.

Large home north Hayling

My family of 6 stayed here from USA , for our 2 week vacation visiting the area and our UK family. The house was very large, clean and spacious and a good location near Havant and not far from the seafront. A small farm shop, stoke fruit farm half a mile away, for basics and the large Tesco in Havant. A walking path along the water edge was nice. Georgina was easy to contact. We would give the property 5 stars but there were a few issues hence 4 stars. The house is a smart home and instructions on how things work would have been appreciated.. the downstairs toilet wouldn’t flush properly. The sliding doors in the living room were really hard to push open. The A/C units in 2 of the bedrooms leaked. Two bedrooms were missing curtains/blinds. The hot tub needed cleaning/maintenance as the water was dirty. Overall a little more TLC was needed. But it was a good fit for a large group, there aren’t many large homes in the area.
