Onnen Fawr Farmhouse offers the quintessential farmhouse holiday experience in the heart of the Brecon Beacons, blending traditional charm with modern comfort.
Nestled within 33 acres of privately owned farmland, guests are invited to open the gates and explore tranquil hay meadows, enjoy private fishing along the Afon Crai, the main tributary to the Usk. Or simply unwind in the large, private hot tub with breathtaking countryside views.
The farmhouse comfortably sleeps up to eight guests across four spacious and uniquely styled bedrooms.
Two of the rooms feature king-size beds with en-suite bathrooms, while a third offers a double bed and the fourth is furnished with twin beds that can be made into a double upon request.
Upstairs also hosts a family bathroom with a bath, separate shower unit, sink, and WC. You’ll also enjoy the comfort of heated towel rails for warm, fluffy towels, and complimentary Black Pepper & Sandalwood shampoo, conditioner, and body wash for an added touch of indulgence.
Downstairs, guests will find a beautifully traditional farmhouse kitchen complete with oven and a large oak dining table, setting the perfect scene for shared family meals.
The newly renovated lounge includes a wood-burning stove within a feature fireplace, creating a cosy and inviting retreat with plenty of room for both adults and children to relax.
There is also a utility room with a sink and a downstairs WC for convenience.
Outside, the farmhouse boasts a private garden with patio and lawn areas, a built-in charcoal barbecue, and access to the wider farmland for endless exploring.
After a day of adventure, the outdoor hot tub offers the ultimate space to relax.
Please note, for safety reasons, children under 16 and pregnant women are not permitted to use the hot tub, and it may take up to 12 hours to heat after cleaning between stays.
Onnen Fawr Farmhouse is pet-friendly, welcoming up to two dogs, with countryside walks beginning right at the doorstep.
A cot and highchair are available for guest use, though we kindly ask you to bring your own cot blankets.
