Perfect House for Big Family Outing

The spaces were laid out perfectly for our needs. Love the outdoor seating and the basketball court!ALL of the kids were cozy and comfy. The guest bedroom with queen bed was a little too firm but other than that there are no complaints.I like the fact that we had little to do for clean up. The house was perfectly furnished for our needs. Thank you!

Weekend stay

What a great place to stay with our family over the weekend! Plenty of room for our children to burn off their energy, and plenty of beds for everyone to have their own bed! Everyone slept soundly and we really enjoyed our stay. We felt like our needs were met and fit the bill; just what we were looking for!

Weekend getaway

Comfortable stay

Comfy house set in a nice wooded area. We only slept and showered there but it would be a perfect place to relax and play. Would definitely stay again!

Home away from home

Absolutely loved the house! Very peaceful and we had a deer visit us one morning. The kids loved all the activities and amenities available to them. Host was great and would stay again!

The Perfect Getaway

Such a tranquil place, we loved it. The flowers are beautiful, the big shady trees, and big yard are wonderful. The house is very clean and comfortable; we all loved staying there.

Perfect for my family

We really enjoyed our stay at the Woodlands. The hosts were very responsive and the location was great. We have a large family and don’t enjoy spending money to stay at hotels and we felt like we were at home so it was a great fit for our family.

Great set-up for tournament anglers looking for a place to stay at Fort Gibson

We were there for a tournament on Fort Gibson and we couldn't have been happier with this house. SUPER clean, plenty of parking for 2-4 boats and only 5 minutes from Taylor's Ferry North.

Great place!

Had a perfect family reunion for Thanksgiving. The house is just right for 6-8 people. Provided everything we needed and then some 😀. Will definitely recommend and be back.

Short visit

Two couples with 2 sets of boys each came and had a wonderful time. The boys loved the foosball table, and the fire pit was awesome. The property was amazing.

Wonderful place!

We loved our time at Woodlands! Beautiful home, stocked kitchen, and a lovely front porch with swing. The owner was easy to work with and accommodating. The only thing I would add to the property is a washer and dryer, but we would definitely book again.

Relaxing spot in the woods

We had a great time at the property. It provided a great home base while we visited family in the area. All of the beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. It was a little cold and rainy to use the outside area, but it looked great. Communication with the owner was very responsive. We would definitely recommend this property!

Wonderful retreat

Woodlands is clean and welcoming with all the amenities you could want in a home away from home. There is a playground for kids, a porch swing/rockers for grownups to enjoy the beautifully landscaped yard. The kitchen has everything you need to cook for a crowd, the beds are comfortable, and the hosts are friendly and accommodating. This is our second time here and we hope to come back again!

Just what we needed

Was looking for a place close to the muskogee renn fair that would accommodate our family but also afford us some privacy. This place was perfect. We were close enough to town but also secluded enough to enjoy our privacy. The accommodations were great for the kids and the patio was a favorite among us adults. It was cozy and comfortable as well. Kids loved the playground and the Foosball table. Definitely will be back!

Clean, relaxing stay!

We enjoyed our weekend here. Very clean property, cute and inviting. Kitchen well stocked. Extremely comfortable beds, plenty of room to spread out. Peaceful property with a fantastic fire pit. The only thing I wish I had known was to bring a folding table for eating outside- the one on the property is in very bad shape and not fit for dining outside on. Otherwise perfect. We would 100% stay here again - great experience.

Fall family weekend

We came to town for NSU’s fall family weekend with the hopes of being able to relax and get away from the city with our family and were able to do just that! The house is beautiful and we were pleasantly surprised that the house felt much larger in person than the pictures make it seem which was great since we had a large party! The kids had so much on the outside toy and the fuse-ball table. We plan to be back to Tahlequah regularly over the next few years and will gladly book again!

The picture here shows us at Lakeview a few Christmases ago with our children and grandchildren. We have enjoyed renting vacation properties and continue looking for additional properties in the area. We love interacting with guests and making sure they have everything they need. Our heart's desire is that each guest has the best experience possible, fun, peace, deep and meaningful connections with each other.
