The property centres around a beautifully restored 19th-century lodge, with thoughtfully designed accommodation & magical areas for entertaining and dining.

From May to September we can take an additional 6 guests in our luxury raised bell tents in the garden.


The lodge is surrounded by fields and has river access to the most beautiful stretch of the Teme.

The front garden has a patio area with plenty of seating, firepits and a large table for outside dining.

The Long barn beside the main lodge can seat up to 50 and provides a magical space for al fresco dining. It has a darts board, table & chairs, seating area and outdoor cinema on request.

Large BBQ with gas supplied.

The River Below the House is a fabulous place that you can spend hours roaming, and exploring. Which leads to walking trails, mountain bike trails and offas dyke.

The main lodge can sleep up to 14 guests over 6 large super king bedrooms, with plenty of room for extra cot beds, and smaller beds for children.

All bedrooms have zip and link beds which gives you flexibility on bed formations, so all the beds in these rooms can either be super king or twins formation. Room 4 can have 4 singles or a super king with 2 singles.

All the rooms inside the main lodge are very spacious, have huge windows to the surrounding countryside. Each room is supplied with all linen, towels, hot water bottles, hairdryers, and water jugs.

From May to September there are 3 fully furnished bell tents set on raised decks in the lodge garden complete with super king beds with actual mattress for real luxury glamping. Each tent is £125 per night for a minimum of 2 nights. Guests in the bell tents can use the facilities in the main lodge. Each bell tent can sleep 2 per tent with space on the floor for children on airbeds if required.

For shorter or longer bookings, last minute offers, parties or celebrations on site please message us directly. The owners live on site too, which means that we can either be on hand to help with all the extras you may choose, or equally leave you in peace to enjoy your stay.

Inside the main lodge there are 6 bedrooms:
Bedroom 1 (ensuite): takes a super king or 2 singles
Bedroom 2 (ensuite): takes a super king or 2 singles
Bedroom 3 (shared family bathroom with bedroom 4): takes a super king or 2 singles
Bedroom 4 (shared family bathroom with bedroom 3): takes a super king AND a single or 4 singles
Bedroom 5 (shared family bathroom with bedroom 5): takes a super king or 2 single
Bedroom 6 (shared family bathroom with bedroom 6): takes a super king or 2 single

We can add in travel cots and additional mattress on request for small people for an additional £20 per person.

We have 3 fully furnished bell tents set on wooden decking in the main lodge gardens opposite the front of the main entrance. Each tent has zip and link beds, mattress', toppers, thick top tog duvets, blankets, hot water bottles. Each tent is £125 per night for a minimum of 2 nights. Guests in the bell tents can use the facilities in the main lodge.

The first basket of wood is provided and thereafter it is £20 a basket for logs.

Riverside access - The lodge is surrounded by fields and has river access to the most beautiful stretch of the Teme. From the field beside the lodge is a path down to the river, a great stretch of water that is mentioned in the wild swimming guide. The River Below the House is a fabulous place that you can spend hours roaming, and exploring. Which leads to walking trails, mountain bike trails and offas dyke.

Extras On Request -

The Safari Tent – Nestled within the barn walls is our wonderful Safari tent. A snug and romantic outdoor space with toilets attached, great for parties or inviting extra guests to join you for a celebration. To hire the safari tent and for pricing on extra guests, please enquire with Wilde Lodge directly.

There are a host of hidden extra’s at Forest View and we are masters at helping people organise exactly what they need for their escape here. Whether it is private catering, a hot tub, guided walks, local places to visit or walks to recommend, the team of staff are here on hand if you need anything arranged.

Please note the price advertised on airbnb is for the main lodge which sleeps 14 guests over 6 bedrooms.

From May to September we can take an additional 6 guests in our luxury raised bell tents in the garden. These are an additional fee per tent, arranged on booking at an extra cost. In addition to the bell tents, there is also the possibility to have extra guests camp, bring a camper van or stay on site in bell tents. Extra guests on site must be negotiated with owners before hand and are an additional charge to the cost advertised for the main lodge.
