Amazing apartment in Menaggio
We stayed in this wonderful apartment for 5 days and absolutely loved it. The view of Lake Como, Menaggio, and towns across the lake like Bellagio is breathtaking. The spacious apartment is spread over two floors, with four bedrooms, three bathrooms, two washing machines, a large living room, a full kitchen, and a beautiful terrace.The air conditioning worked well, but we also enjoyed opening the windows for fresh air. We had all our breakfasts and some meals on the terrace, soaking in the incredible views. The décor is tasteful, with lovely art, tapestries, and comfortable furniture. The beds were cozy, and we loved starting our mornings with the espresso maker and milk frother.We walked to the main town (a steep hike back up) and did a 7-mile hike to Grandola Ed Uniti. The Wi-Fi was strong, and the property management team was easy to reach and gave clear check-in instructions.Note: This apartment involves stairs—about 80 from the parking lot to the front door, and more inside—so it's not ideal for those with mobility issues. My 74-year-old mother managed fine, but luggage and groceries must be carried in. Due to the stairs and walk, I rated the location 4/5, but everything else was 5 stars. Highly recommend—we hope to return!
