Villa Nella is a beautiful villa on the edge of the charming town of Sannicandro di Bari. Nella Apartment is on the first floor and one of 3 apartments in the house, sharing beautiful gardens and a swimming pool. It sleeps up to 6 people and makes a wonderful retreat for family or friends who want to explore Puglia or just relax in the sun.

The apartment’s spacious and airy rooms are tastefully decorated with a combination of antique and contemporary pieces. The living room is furnished with 2 sofas, an open fireplace and an antique piano. Through an arched door, there is a kitchen/diner. This
is equipped with a cooker hob, oven, microwave, Moka coffee machine and fridge/freezer. There is a dining table for 6 people and a flat-screen TV.

The owners have spent as much attention on the gardens as they have on the interiors. There is a private terrace outside the entrance to the apartment where guests can sit and enjoy a cup of coffee in peace. Down in the garden is a large swimming pool, surrounded by a terrace furnished with sun loungers and armchairs. Elsewhere the garden has been planted with fruit and olive trees and other lush plants.

Bedroom 1: The master bedroom, has a double bed, a dressing table, a wardrobe and an en suite bathroom.
Bedroom 2: The second bedroom is furnished with a double bed and a wardrobe.
Extra: The sofa in the living room converts into a comfortable double bed.

Location
Just a 10-minute stroll from the historic centre of the town Sannicandro di Bari, the villa is ideally located for guests to explore this beautiful part of Puglia. Sannicandro di Bari is known for its historic castle, impressive churches and noble palaces. Its weekly market takes place every Thursday morning. Here you can find the famous local figs, quinces, olive oil and sweet olives.

The busy port city of Bari, the capital of Puglia, is just 20 minutes away. Two different areas of the city are worth exploring. Bari Vecchia (the old town) and the Murat. Wander through the narrow streets and try the delicious local food. The daily fish market on the elegant seafront (Lungomare) is where the fishermen sell their catch directly from their boats.

For trips to the coast, Polignano a Mare (35 minutes) offers excellent snorkelling and Monopoli (45 minutes) is known for its charming winding whitewashed streets and ancient harbour.

Bari airport is just 25 minutes away.
