Salcombe Retreat is a small site of 34 private lodges. Surrounded by countryside and a designated Area of Outstanding Beauty, the south west coastal path is accessible from Salcombe Retreat.
The nearest village is Malborough a 5 minute drive, with two pubs, and a convenience store.
4 miles from Salcombe, and it's wonderful beaches, and 5 miles from the Market town of Kingsbridge.
A local 164 bus runs hourly between Malborough and Salcombe

This beautiful lodge has a large south facing 'wrap-around' decked terrace, equipped with outdoor furniture - with a gate which allows for the 'containment' of dogs and small children.

The bright airy open plan lounge/kitchen area is beautifully decorated and has ample seating for 6 people, a smart tv with free Wi-Fi, and countryside views.
The three bedrooms consist of two doubles with premium mattresses, and the third has twin beds.
This property has two bathrooms, one with large shower cubicle, toilet and basin, the other a bath with shower above with screen, toilet and basin.
Parking is provided directly next to the lodge for one car, and an overflow carpark for any other vehicles.

The accommodation was as described. The location was ideal for exploring the local area and wider towns nearby. Clean and well presented property. Communication with host was exceptional and prompt. Host provided useful information about surrounding areas and places of interest and also detailed walks within the area. Overall very pleased and would happily return and recommend to family and friends.

Beautiful lodge located in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Very quiet and peaceful but also close enough to local shops and amenities. The owner was very helpful and amenable and we found the lodge to be very well equipped. We hope to return in the not too distant future.
