Maison Sérénité · Private Pool near Monpazier

Maison Sérénité is an owner-managed, restored stone holiday home in peaceful countryside near the medieval bastide of Monpazier. Set in around 2.5 acres of private grounds, it combines generous indoor and outdoor space with a seasonal 10 × 4 m saltwater pool reserved for your group.

THE SPACE
The four bedrooms sleep 8 guests in conventional beds: three double bedrooms and one twin. A double sofa bed in the separate snug provides flexible sleeping space for guests 9 and 10, and a travel cot and high chair are available by prior arrangement. There are two bathrooms plus two separate WCs.

The spacious lounge has air conditioning and opens towards the pool and garden; every bedroom has a powerful fan. The house also offers fast Wi-Fi, heating, a fully equipped kitchen, indoor dining, a washing machine, bed linen, bath towels and dedicated pool towels.

OUTDOORS
Enjoy shaded outdoor dining, sun loungers, peaceful gardens and generous private parking. The unheated saltwater pool has a shallow area and is normally available from April to October, subject to weather, maintenance and water conditions. Complimentary adult and child bicycles, with helmets, lights and security chains, are available for use at guests’ own risk.

LOCATION
Maison Sérénité is in Marsalès, about 2 minutes by car or 15 minutes on foot from Monpazier. Use the house as a relaxed base for the village market, bakeries, cafés and restaurants, then explore nearby bastides, châteaux, Dordogne River days, walking and cycling routes.

HOSTING
Tony and Niki own and manage Maison Sérénité. After spending three years restoring the house, they continue to prepare each stay personally and are happy to help with honest answers and local recommendations while respecting your privacy.

PLEASE NOTE
The traditional house is arranged over three floors and has entrance steps and internal stairs, so it is not wheelchair accessible. The property is best suited to families, couples and respectful groups. No parties, pets or indoor smoking. No glass is permitted around the pool, quiet hours are 22:00–07:00, and children must be supervised around the pool, grounds and bicycles.
