Though the on-site restaurant is temporarily closed (Jan 14 – Feb 3, 2026), you won’t have to look far for a satisfying meal. The nearby towns of Wierden and Almelo offer charming local eateries like Restaurant Ledeboer for upscale dining and Eetcafé ’t Witte Hoes for casual bites. Note: During Easter, the event Hexel on Wheels will take place on Saturday, April 4, and Monday, April 6, next to the park. This is a fun cross-event for both young and old. Please note that the event will be audible from within the park.
