This beautifully restored, historic home in Orval offers a unique stay for families, blending heritage charm with modern comfort. Once part of the old forge's charcoal hall, the property sits in the mild-climate Gaume region, just 500 m from Orval Abbey. The furnished garden is perfect for morning tea, while the well-equipped kitchen invites you to start your day with a hearty breakfast. Nature lovers can explore hiking and cycling trails that wind through forests, past ponds, and even across the border into France. For mountain bikers, the Cyclotrappiste route offers scenic rides between Trappist abbeys. Families will enjoy the Promenade des Bornes, an easy 4.1-mile loop through woods and fields, or the Bois de la Vierge trail, leading to the village of Villers-devant-Orval. After a day outdoors, dine at nearby gems like La Galejade, Au Coup De Frein, or L'Orangerie du Pall for regional flavors. Whether you're seeking history, nature, or a peaceful retreat, this home offers a memorable stay in the heart of the Ardennes.
For reasons of tranquillity, this holiday home will not be rented to groups of youngsters It is strictly forbidden to organise any student party, bachelor party or drinking party in this house
