Our Double rooms have everything you need for a relaxed and comfortable stay, whether you’re visiting for business or leisure. The rooms are quiet, spacious and decorated in contemporary colours and fabrics. All rooms are en-suite and are of a high standard. Facilities include a T.V., direct dial telephone, hairdryer and hospitality tray.
Just 16 miles from Aberdeen, this historic old coaching inn was built in 1704 and overlooks the River Ythan.

There is free Wi-Fi throughout New Inn Hotel, and free private parking on site.

Delicious meals are served in Cornkist Restaurant, with its stained glass windows and range of dining options. Guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner.

We stayed for 3 nights, warm friendly atmosphere, nothing was too much trouble, good food and huge portions. My favourite bit was the retro hairdryer in the bathroom. Made me laugh so much. Thank you all again, we'll be back

Fabulous stay here!

Very friendly staff, excellent food in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast, decent sized room with a really comfy bed and good shower. What more can you ask for?! I have recommended to many already, if they are in the area 🙂

Feels like home away from home and very welcoming

Staying at the New Inn feels like staying at a relatives home. Everyone is very welcoming and friendly. The food was excellent and the rooms were comfortable and clean. James in the pub was especially friendly.

Absolutely one of the best places we have stayed.

From checking in to checking out, everyone was so helpful and cheerful.. nothing was too much trouble. Our room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. The only downside was the wardrobe space, it was very small! It was okay for us as well only stayed two nights, but any longer and we would have struggled with hanging space. But overall the room was lovely. Would definitely stay here again if need be for a couple of nights.

Andreas and his team are always keen to ensure you have the most enjoyable stay .Having stayed on many occasions it feels like home to home .Karen is always attentive when serving breakfast and nothing is a hassle for her and she remembers your order. Last morning for breakfast which was a Monday ,no yoghurts which was disappointing for my Sister they had a busy weekend ,so stocks were low.

We had a very enjoyable stay, bedroom, facilities, staff, food all excellent

We were very pleasantly surprise with everything, had been in the hotel years ago and could not believe the change. Car park, bedroom , bar, dining room etc all very well decorated , comfortable , even took a couple of pictures especially the huge mirror on staircase. Staff all helpful , breakfasts dinners etc could not believe the change faulty, we had intended to eat out second night but decided hotel food a better choice. We hopefully will return. Thank you

Another Fabulous Break

I've stayed here twice now, in different rooms, and both times the rooms were spotless. The staff are incredibly welcoming, and we didn't need to leave the hotel for entertainment as there was a quiz night and live music, during our weekend away. Laren was great at recommending local spots to visit, and the foid was fantastic too, will definitely visit again. 😃

Very comfortable bed. Very friendly staff. Everything was thoroughly enjoyable for our wedding anniversary stay. Only criticism was the restaurant. Our main courses arrived seconds after we had finished our starter. A 10-15 minute gap between courses would have been appreciated, like most restaurants. Waitress said chefs had made the food so she had to bring it out. Breakfast. Avocado on toast was minimally thinly spread, meaning it was very dry, with poached eggs overdone, adding to the dryness
