Safir, Ekin 4 Apartment is a luxury penthouse duplex built just a few years ago by one of Kalkan's leading developers. It is one of five apartments in a small exclusive development just a short walk into Kalkan's beautiful Old Town. It offers spacious, airy and modern accommodation. Total floor area in excess of 100 sq.m. The apartment has three double bedrooms , one ensuite, and each with a large balcony with views of Kalkan Bay, all situated on the lower level. There is also a Family Bathroom on this floor. The master bedroom has a Kingsize bed as has bedroom 2 and bedroom 3 has twin beds which can be pushed together if needed. Sleeps 6. A cot bed and extra child beds can be arranged. Each bedroom has its own large balcony with plenty of space to relax and look at the sea views. On the upper floor is a very large open plan , split-level living/dining/kitchen area with two sets of sliding doors opening out on to the extensive terrace with its own rooftop pool. A seating area with cushions runs alongside the pool and loungers and parasols provide plenty of opportunity to enjoy the sun. There is also another raised terrace area with more seating to enjoy the views over Kalkan and it's beautiful bay and behind the apartment the Taurus mountains offer a more rugged vista. The living room is tastefully furnished with a large L-shaped sofa, two easy chairs, coffee table and matching dining table and chairs. TV system provides full U.K. terrestrial and satellite channels including sports & movies. There is also a DVD player and films are available for guests to enjoy. The views from the upper level are stunning. The kitchen is fully fitted in high gloss white with black granite work surfaces including a breakfast bar and stools. There is an integrated single oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave, chilled water dispenser, food processor, kettle and toaster with lots of cupboards and storage space. A charcoal BBQ is found on the terrace. There is also a cloakroom with wc and washbasin on the upper level. On the lower level is a washing machine, iron, ironing board and clothes airer. Safir is perfectly placed to enjoy Kalkan's magical blend of Turkish culture and history alongside stylish rooftop restaurants and many boutiques. SAFIR is a short walk of 6-7 minutes to the Old Town and restaurants and bars, shops, banks etc. The narrow cobbled streets of the Old Town lead down to the Marina where Turkish gullets are moored alongside visiting yachts and small fishing boats. Private boat trips around the bay and surrounding area are readily available. There are several beach clubs within easy reach, with sandy beaches and sites of historical importance all close by.
