Pet area was small - not really fenced entirely in. Did have a large outdoor dog kennel.House was very clean and well stocked. AC worked well as it was hot. Beautiful neighborhood, quiet, nice landscaping, back deck was very enjoyable for morning coffee. Overall a very nice place.

I enjoyed my stay very much and would have loved another few days to spend in such a quiet and peaceful place. The online description was spot on, and checking in was extremely easy with the owner quick to respond to each text. The manual for wifi in for, area activities, check-out procedures was clear and organized. The house and backyard were quite pet-friendly for Rufus, my small dog. He loves to be chased: with the right doors open inside, he could run in a big circle, always making him think I could never catch him. He was delighted. I am in this area at least twice a year, and will happily seek to return to this spot. Oh, and the neighborhood is great for walking.
Amazing sunsets at the bay, two blocks away.

This home was clean, as advertised and in a nice community. The homeowner, from the beginning, was very responsive to all of my questions. The home had everything we needed including soap, shampoos, conditioner, and laundry supplies. This was really nice and kept us from having to pick up supplies we wouldn't be able to take back home with us. Jan was easy to communicate with and reached out to me to ensure we were happy with the home. I really appreciated this gesture. This was my first time to use VRBO and it was a wonderful experience. I would definitely pick this home again when we are back in the area for a visit home. Highly recommend.

The house was a great find. My group was in town for a bowling tournament and the center was just a few minutes away. Downtown Ocean Springs was an easy drive from the house also. The house was plenty roomy and the layout worked well for our group. The covered back deck was a nice place to enjoy morning coffee.Jan recommended a couple of restaurants and the two we visited did not disappoint!Will definitely look at booking the house again next year when we return for the bowling tournament

Charming house on the bayou

My husband and I stayed at this cute house for a week and enjoyed it very much. It was clean and comfortable. Jan was very accommodating and friendly. We had a great time.

Summer getaway

Jan’s house was well equipped with so many amenities including an office desk to work at. The wildlife was enjoyable to see in the backyard and the neighborhood was quiet. There were plenty of nearby beaches to explore and great restaurants. It was just what my husband I needed to relax and explore the surroundings.

getaway on the gulf

We stayed here for over a month. Great neighborhood and very quiet. About 150 yards from the Gulf with a small channel in the backyard. Great for bird watching. The stove was an upscale gas model making meal prep a breeze. We enjoyed our stay and would book again if in the area.

Loved the Tropical Oasis

We loved staying at the Tropical Oasis! Booking was a breeze & communicating with Mrs J was easy. She’s so nice! We arrived on a cold rainy day and Mrs J had the fire place on when we arrived. It was so warm & cozy. The place was clean and smelled very good. A lot of thought & heart went into the decorating as it was beautifully done. The home was supplied with everything we needed! We enjoyed the outdoor atmosphere as well. We caught fish & crabs & were able to clean them and enjoy a big fish fry. There was a very nice spot to park our boat. Sitting on the deck & enjoying the bayou was relaxing & fun too.. The location is great, close to all the surrounding cities & attractions. We’d love to stay here again. ❤️ 🎣 ☀️ 🚤 🦀 🐟 🥰

Wedding Venue

The location of the house was perfect for our trip to Gautier for grandson’s wedding at the “The Old Place “. The neighborhood was quite on a dead end street. Would love to stay again.
