We stayed here during UC Davis orientation and it was a very cozy place near the college. There is also a lovely park roughly two blocks from the apartment. Check in was easy and the owner was very attentive and responsive. Thank you so much for making our first real visit to Davis, CA a pleasant one!

Uber clean and modern.

Super clean apartment attached to main house. I stayed in the front apartment which has access to a nice patio. Comfortable queen bed and futon in same room, able to separate from kitchen with curtain. Recently updated accept for gas stove, which worked fine. Bare minimun extras, bring your own coffee and toilet paper. Very nice quiet neighborhood about 10 minutes from Davis downtown. Would definitely stay again.

Mostly good

The location was great for our needs in Davis. The first shower was an experience, there was body was which many places have but lacked wash cloths to use it with. Seems like either wash cloths or bar soap would be required

Bring your chair

Heading to UC Davis Medical Center on short notice, I booked this listing for its accessibility after reading a glowing review from a person in a wheelchair. What I failed to realize was that--without a wheelchair--my companion and I would have no comfortable places to sit throughout our 4-day stay. The listing said air conditioning would be set at 74 degrees. We had to contact owners to get it below 87. Check the photos carefully; I had failed to notice that there is no sink in the kitchen area. Doing dishes in the bathroom gets old. Nice TV with very limited access to programming. An added insult was the posted note asking guests not to review if they won't give 5 stars. Maybe that explains why there were so few reviews.

Everything we needed + Great Hospitality!!

This in-home unit is exactly as pictured. Our host, Sam, is great with communication and very accommodating. My husband is in a wheelchair full time and Sam even provided a ramp over the one-step entry into the home. The unit has a private, locked entry just inside the front door. The owner lives on site but his area also has a locked entry. We were able to navigate the area with our manual wheelchair and Sam indicated he is going to make further imorovement for accessibility......a real gift to travelers like ourselves! The home is on a cul de sac in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. Fast food, Starbucks, and a Nugget Market are 5 minutes away. We would definitely stay here again!

You will feel at home in the quiet and safe Willowbank area of east Davis. Just across the Mace Blvd is the El Macero golf course. The Putah creek park is 2 minutes walking distance from the studio and offers great trails for hiking and biking. The wetlands between Davis and Sacramento are 20 minutes away by bike and offer great opportunities for birdwatching and hiking.
