The place was advertised as anticca which I suppose is Italian for antique. It presented well, with three floors of living space. The third floor had a random bathtub next to a living room. The second floor is where the bedrooms and full bath are. The first floor is the kitchen and another living area. The place was like living in an antique that was poorly maintained. There was mold in the shower, everything was dusty and dirty like it hadn’t been properly cleaned in years. There was a poor patch job of the second floor skylight. There was a heat wave during our stay and the air conditioning units worked the first night, then all four of them died on the second day. The host was responsive with sending a repairman quickly; however the repairman said he couldn’t fix the problem. There were no fans to circulate air. Thankfully the fridge/freezer worked. We ended up leaving early and finding another place.
