We really enjoyed our stay in Aguatona! this villa is so beautiful, we have never stayed anywhere as nice! from having a private pool, to living amongst the wildlife, it was a holiday we have never experienced before! Carlos was an amazing host, he answered lots of our questions and gave us an amazing dinner recommendation (Restaurant Vega)Carlos was really helpful with some pool questions we had, he cleans the pool on Wednesdays which really maintains the cleanliness! don't be alarmed by the bugs and possible animals getting stuck in the pool. Coming from the UK, some of these creatures were a bit scary at first but completely harmless! There is a pool net which comes in really handy! The house itself was completely animal free, apart from one gecko that snuck in - but this was an easy fix!There was air-con in the main bedroom and a fan in the living area which definitely helped to keep us cool. Because of the heat, the shower pipes would heat up during the day but by the evening it was perfect temperature for a cooling shower!Don't rely on taxis in this area! can be quite hit or miss, however we used an app called 'PideTaxi' which had the best success. We also took the bus, just make sure to check the times as they can be irregular. Once we hired a car, this holiday was a dream! Less than 10 minutes from big supermarkets and only 30 mins to places like Moġan or Las Palmas.We recommend Telde as this is a town close by, but nothing tops 'Restaurant Vega' !

We were a little disappointed with the villa. While it offered us privacy and a place of our own, the amenities were severely lacking. The main bed (made to look like a double in the advert) was actually two single and very uncomfortable hospital beds of differing width and height with pretty poor mattresses. There wasn’t enough hot water for two people to have a shower. No hot water came through to the sink. The kitchen only has two small hobs and a microwave and lacks basic utensils such as a bread knife or any wooden spoons, albeit a good selection of pans. Most of the interior of the villa was cheaply done, with uncomfortable seats/sofas and the main bedroom being an afterthought with no exterior windows, meaning stuffy nights. The grass outside is astroturf. The bbq area was good but no bbq utensils provided. No coffee, tea, etc and no hand soap in the bathroom! Plus 3 toilet rolls for the week felt stingy! The area is fine and private enough but a car is required to get anywhere.

La verdad,la casa es pequeña pero funcional,lástima no pudimos aprovechar la piscina,estaba helada,pero para lo que la queríamos estaba genial,por poner una pega,le faltaba iluminación al baño,pero es una apreciación mía,lo demás perfecto

Lamentamos que no pudieran disfrutar de la piscina debido a la temperatura del agua y agradecemos también su comentario sobre la iluminación del baño.
