Amazing location and host!

We truly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property that is perfectly located on the shore of the Georgian Bay. The entire family had really good time in this quiet area. Andrea our host was also so kind to call upon us checking in to ensure that everything was OK for our stay. It is very likely that we will book this property again. We highly recommend it.

Summer shore stay

The Peaksview cottage is located in a charming and established residential, waterfront community just outside Meaford. Entering the home you are immmediately in holiday mode.Lovely and fully furnished and equipped inside and extended outside to perfect eating and sitting areas near the shore. Host Andrea was quick to connect with us to ensure we were settled in and ready to enjoy our holiday. A perfect stay. Thanks so much Andrea.

amazing place!

Absolutely fantastic stay! The property was amazing and beautifully decorated. Andrea went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable, and communication was smooth. The location was perfect, just steps away from the lake, and the property was fully equipped with all the essentials. Great for a weekend get away

Excellent property. Shows better in person and the pictures even - quiet little cottage, but lots of charm and excellent views. Very relaxing, and short drive to town. Andrea was great to work with, very communicative and responsive. All around, excellent experience, and a fantastic property

Girls weekend away

Me and my girls friends wanted a quiet weekend away. Andrea and her property was perfect! It was stocked with everything we needed. It was immaculate, comfortable and cozy! Andrea has really thought of everything! Highly recommend the property!

A little piece of heaven

This house was very cozy and very clean. The kitchen was very well equipped and the linens of excellent quality. The location right on the shore of Georgian Bay is spectacular. Andrea was very conscientious in communicating with us to be sure that we had what we needed. Superb host!!I highly recommend Peaksview in Meaford

Peaks view was a beautiful, clean and peaceful cottage with everything you need for your stay including a view of the lake from every room. Andrea has literally thought of everything. The cottage is beautifully decorated in a beachy, coastal theme and has the most gorgeous flowers, gardens and landscape. The water was cold but really clean and clear with lots of rocks and pebbles so bring water shoes. My kids loved playing out on the water matte and kayaking and paddle boarding. They are 11 and 13 and loved the bunk room! The firepit area on the water was really nice too, very relaxing and helped reset our nervous systems. We didn't want to leave:)

Amazing!

We had an amazing stay at Peaks View. Andrea has certainly gone above and beyond in making sure her guests have everything needed to make the most of their stay. The cottage is beautiful and the views breathtaking. We have already decided to come back for a week next summer.

Perfect retreat

Beautiful, cozy cottage. Highly recommend water shoes for the rocky beach but the water was fantastic for kayaking, SUPing and swimming. Andrea was really nice. Beautiful view to wake up to. We hope to get back soon.

Stunning Views and Lovely Home

What a beautiful home. The house it self is tastefully decorated and very well thought out. You will find everything you could possibly need in the kitchen and the beds are cozy. It was very easy to get comfortable in this home away from home. As lovely as the house is the view of the Georgian Bay can’t be beat! We would 10/10 recommend to everyone. Thank you Andrea.

Great for family celebration

We had a lovely time at Peaksview! We picked the location as we needed a place that was wheel chair accessible. And Peaksview was ideal. Andrea was great at reaching out to us to ensure we had everything we needed to prep a celebratory dinner for my father's Birthdays. The morning view is amazing and the water was a lovely chilly temp for a nice cold plunge. There is a great outdoor eating area with heaters which we used for our November dinner. Overall it's a fabulous property with an excellent host.feast.

Get-away weekend

Five family members gathered for the weekend at Peaks View. It was delightful. The property is right on the water and is very well equipped. Everything you might need is available. Very clean and comfortable. The owner was available for questions. A great experience. We hope to return.

Idyllic winter getaway

My cousin and I found the perfect winter getaway that we were looking for at Peaksview. The well-lit rooms, beachfront property offering sound of waves and picturesque sunrise, fire on wintry nights, beautiful hikes in the environs, board games, and a fully functional and stocked kitchen offered us lots of memories to carry with us. Andrea is an incredible and thoughtful host who offers local tips and has truly created a beautiful cottage getaway for anyone who needs a break from the humdrum of life. We hope to be back again soon.

Amazing Location! Amazing Rental!

We are overjoyed with our stay! We were welcomed with goodies and the house was so cute! We were able to use the fire pit and Andrea made that extra special for us! Also, we really like to cook and were worried about pots and pans (even bringing some of our own) and this house was stocked with everything! Andrea made our trip so wonderful and we cannot wait to look into coming back in the summer! Would highly recommend! Such a great place!

Beyond our expectations!

Our visit to Peaks View far exceeded our expectations! The photos don’t do it justice. This was by far our favorite VRBO we’ve stayed in. Welcoming, clean and comfortable. Staying at Peaks View you will not want for a thing as Andrea has thought about every little detail. There were days on our trip that we stayed on property because we just wanted to relax and enjoy all it had to offer.

Girls weekend away

We had an incredible stay at Peaks View. No detail was spared with this extraordinary property. The cottage is beautiful both inside and out. Andrea provided everything that we needed and was always just a phone call away. Our girl's/moms' weekend away was truly the best! Rest and Rest

Peaks View is the perfect spot to decompress from your busy life and reset your batteries. The sound of the water against the shore was well enjoyed by our group. This was a pleasant spot to help my hubby welcome his 60 th birthday and the covered dinning for outside was well enjoyed. This rental does not disappoint. It is perfect for a week long escape . Sunrises are spectacular and so is the fire pit and campfires in the evenings. Andrea and team do a great job on all experiences.

Amazing Weekend Getaway

Our much needed weekend getaway was made exceptional by this wonderful property! Not only was it clean and well stocked (we especially enjoyed the matching beautiful dinnerware as well as all the necessities you would need to cook delicious meals), the attention to detail and location was what really made this a five star cottage. It was clear that much thought went into the decor (indoor and outdoor) as well the comfort of guests. The outdoor area was clean, well-maintained, and we appreciated how the outdoor furniture wasn't covered in cobwebs or bugs. Though the shore was rocky, nothing beat taking the floating raft out to the deeper waters and enjoying a dip in the crystal clear waters. It was so enjoyable we all want to come back again! Thanks Andrea for being such a great host!

Perfection!

Beautiful decor. Immaculate grounds. Magical view and sunrises. What a joy it was to stay at this wonderful cottage for a much needed week retreat. The peace and tranquility of Peaks View was exactly what a weary couple was hoping for! The attention to the finest details meant we wanted for nothing during our stay - it was pure comfort & relaxation. Andrea was a gracious host from start to finish and without question delivered a 5 star guest experience. The cherry on the cake was that Meaford & the surrounding areas have so much to offer and explore. We look forward to our return - especially that amazing lakeside hammock! Thank you Andrea!

Last minute getaway for 31st wedding anniversary

Luxury retreat indeed! No expense spared both inside and out! Andrea has curated wonderfully cohesive pieces and furniture to create a beautiful, relaxing and inviting space that reflects its outdoor setting. Well equipped kitchen, comfy beds and linens, great outdoor furniture...the list goes on and on. Location is so perfect. The water views are simply amazing. Make sure to look up at night to see the stars. Get up early to catch an amazing sunrise. Andrea was so accommodating with our last minute request to book. Very helpful and responsive. We will be back and maybe invite our kids next time :) Thank you Andrea for a wonderful stay!

Great location for a girls weekend!

We arrived at Peaks View at the end of January for a family girls weekend. We had lovely mild weather which allowed for lots of exploring. The cottage was very spacious and very clean. Equipped with everything you could need. Our crew included 3 adults and 2 kids. The kids (age 4 and 7) had a great time in the "bunk bed room"! They felt like they had a little hideout on the top level and the hours of fun meant there was time to relax for the adults! Fully equipped kitchen allowed us to prepare meals easily and the spacious bedrooms were extremely comfortable. This cottage would be a great option for 2 families with kids! Outside area was lovely as well, although snow covered at the time of our visit. Would definitely recommend!

Beyond expectations

From our first contact with Andrea about Peaks View she did everything she could to make sure our stay was enjoyable and she succeeded. Her "cottage" is beautiful and Andrea has gone out of her way to add all the finishing touches, inside and out, to make it sure everything is taken care of. The location is great and the sunrises are to die for. The test of a successful rental is returning clients and I have no doubt that in a very short time Peaks View will be booked well in advance. My wife is already planning a. trip this October with her 2 sisters and my wife and I have a tentative booking for next year. What can I say, we loved Peaks View!! Ken and Jeanine
