Location was excellent and accommodations worked out well with our family of (7) adults and (1) 85 yr old. It was actually 2 separate small apartments all connected by steps and/or an elevator to 3rd main apartment which included a fully-equipped kitchen, large table, living room with 2 sofa-beds, and ample seating for everyone. Some very nice breakfasts were made in this kitchen with fresh bread, vegetables, and eggs provided by nearby markets. Weather was lovely for end of Oct/beginning Nov and our 2hr boat ride around Siracusa Coast, along with a swim in the Ionian Sea, was a highlight of our 4 nights in Ortigia.The only drawback to these apartments was that there was no one there to greet us upon arrival, and only an access code would allow us entrance. The code was to be released upon completion of a mandatory form from each of us via a link. This task turned out to be a bit tricky and time consuming, especially since there was no one around in person to assist us. However, after struggling for a while and some coaching with Host Fabio by phone, we finally completed all the required forms and got access into our accommodations!
