Villa del Colle is a luxury property immersed in the green of the Tuscan countryside. This typical Tuscan villa dates back to the eighteenth century and it is the ideal accommodation for family and group vacation (for 8-10 people), it is located a short distance from Lucca and 35 minutes drive from Florence and thanks to its strategic position it is a perfect starting point to visit the main sites of Tuscany such as: Pisa, Florence, Montecatini Terme, Viareggio, Versilia, Forte dei Marmi, Garfagnana. Moreover it is near 6 (18 hole) golf courses and a famous SPA resort, several vineyards and typical taverns.

===== ACCOMMODATION DESCRIPTION =====
The villa has 4 bedrooms (three with king size beds and one with two single beds, plus a double sofa bed if needed). The main first-floor bedroom has its own bathroom. It also has a Turkish bath shower with aroma and light therapy.
The second bedroom and the bedroom with twin beds share a bathroom with shower and Jacuzzi hydro-massage bath, which also offers aroma and light therapy. The bedroom downstairs has its own bathroom.
There is air-conditioning and central heating in each room, separately controlled. There is a sitting room and a large lounge-room with a 15th Century fireplace and a dining table, which seats 12-14 people equipped with 16th Century chairs. All the light fittings are of the 18th century and suit the age of the house.

The house also has two covered patios with tables and chairs for eating out as well as a big kitchen with working fireplace, and again, table and chairs for eating in the kitchen. Wi-Fi is available in the house and in the garden by the pool.
In detail, on the ground floor you find a large lounge-dining room, which seats up to 14 people and has a large 15th century fireplace with lounges and armchairs. There is also a lovely view of the garden and pool area as well as views over the old town (the original town) of Monsummano Alto. Another sitting come lounge room which leads to the big Tuscan kitchen with its own fireplace and antique-style oven. On this floor there is a bathroom decorated with an antique basin and floor but with modern design shower etc. There is also a double bedroom, which gives onto a covered verandah with table and chairs (actually church pews) for eating overlooking the pool and the hillside towns. Next to the kitchen there is the laundry with a large washing machine.

On the upper floor you find the other 3 bedrooms. The main bedroom (30 sq. m.) has its own bathroom with Turkish bath/shower and a lovely view of Monsummano Alto. Another bedroom, which is a little bit smaller, has a view over the valley, the pool, olive groves and woods and it shares a bathroom (with a Jacuzzi bath and shower with light and aroma therapy with the third bedroom with two single beds that, on request, can be put together to get a double bed.
Each room has its own heating and air conditioning units, the villa has an exclusive perimeter and house alarm which is connected to the police via radio and telephone.
The exterior of the villa features typical local stones as the most of the houses in the surroundings and keeps the original aspect of when it was built two hundred years ago. The garden looks over a 360° view of woods and olive groves, hillside towns and hills with chestnuts and cypress trees. To the North one can see the towers of Serravalle Pistoiese and in the distance the mountains of Abetone, famous skiing resort. To the South West the characteristic hillside town of Monsummano Alto.

There is a small wood with a relaxation area with armchairs and tables and a view over the swimming pool.
The pool is 8 x 16 meters and has a large hydro-massage area for 8 people. It is on a natural terrace a few meters below the level of the villa and has a magnificent view over the valley. It is equipped with tables, chairs, umbrellas, divans, sun beds, all in teak.
It is particularly beautiful at night when it is lighted. Under the pool there is a big changing room with 2 showers and a bathroom.
Next to it there is a fitness room equipped with a complete Technogym machine for the developing and toning all the body muscles, a tread mill for running on the spot, a gym bench plus weights and carpets.
Villa del Colle is located in the area called Valdinevole and thanks to its strategic position it is ideal for an unforgettable stay since it is away from the chaos of the cities but with easy access to all the most interesting Tuscan sites.

Security deposit (Refundable):
Security deposit: € 800.00 to be paid in cash upon arrival. It will be returned upon departure less any damage or unpaid fees.

Included in the rental price:
2 hours cleaning on Wednesday,
Light dinner on the arrival evening with homemade sauce, pasta, parmesan cheese, bread and salad, Chianti wine and water (6 bottles of 1,5 lt)
b) Continental breakfast for the next morning: toast, croissants, marmalade, butter, honey, cereals, fruit juice, coffee, tea, milk and sugar.
