Rental company canceled

Didn't stay there. The rental company called up the day before, 20 minutes before they closed to say the rental wouldn't be avaliable. AC problem or something. They offered us an alternate property that wouldn't have provided anything close to the desired experience do we canceled it. We did receive a full refund

Family Christmas Celebration

Beautiful home - good location- safe neighborhood! It was too cold to enjoy the outside - the hot water is touchy and takes a few minutes to heat up- dryer takes a very long time to dry clothes - check-in and check out process very convenient-

The property is beautiful and well maintained on the interior. It's extremely close to all the action and the riverfront. It's a premium location. There were some minor inconveniences, but not ones that I expected from a property that costs as much as this one. The Wi-Fi was inaccessible, it kept prompting for Xfinity credentials or to download the Xfinity app. The lockbox to the garden home was jammed and it took a long time to get open. The air conditioning control panel in the garden home did not work and when a tech showed up to repair it they did not have the part needed to complete the repair. Lastly, I did not receive the code to the front door before my stay. I had to call to get it. That said, the customer service was responsive and very pleasant. I just think some of the issues could have been mitigated before the stay. A simple spot check of the property would have revealed some of them.I'd still recommend this place to anyone traveling with a large group. Assuming the issues I noted get resolved, it's a 5-star potential but not quite there.

Great old house

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A trip of a thousand steps, my 82 year old husband and I enjoyed being with kids and their mates and our one 6 year old grandson. It took several tries to get into the house and to figure who was sleeping where. My husband and I got the top floor and then due to a bathroom which broke second day, had to use the upstairs bathrooms the rest of the trip. Lucky Savannah did come to try and fix the situation but was unable to get the part, nor fix the hot water problem...but we still had a great time and one does need to get in "their steps".

Luxury in Savannah

My sisters and I brought our Mom to Savannah to celebrate her 80th birthday. We all had such a wonderful time together, and this home was a fabulous part of our time together. It was well appointed, comfortable and clean with so many amenities. Thank you!

Girls Weekend

8 of us on girls weekend. House is in a great location to walk to everything. Felt completely safe in the neighborhood. Large round table for chatting and eating. Bathroom on every level. Could use a little more seating in living room given the number of people the property sleeps. Super easy to communicate with owners. Would definitely stay here again.

Elegance and Comfort

Great home for group of friends to connect in Savannah. The home was so well equipped for our group of 7 adults, great location in the historic district to access everything but off the path of multitudes of tourists so it was quiet and felt like home away from home but UPGRADED!

Great Location and Spacious Home

We stayed at the house with 8 family members so all of us had more than enough room. The house is in a perfect location to the river shops/bars and downtown. Very quite neighborhood and beautiful area. I would recommend staying this home with a good of 8+ anytime. There is 2 units in this house so if you use both units you have to go outside to go back and forth between, that would be the only downside to the home.

The best of the best!

We had 11 people staying with us in this beautiful and so incredibly comfortable home for our friends wedding! It was perfect for what we needed and provided a safe space for the grandparents and kids (in the garden apartment) also having the upstairs for the bridal party to live and sleep too! The home was gorgeous, inviting, warm, and parking and the location was easy and perfect! We loved everything about this house!!!

Great Location

This was a beautiful home and the location was excellent. Comfortable beds but be aware that the "master" bed is super tall- you have to either jump up into it or climb up using the bad frame (there are other bedrooms if this is a problem for you) We had some issues with the heating (we were there during a cold spell) and the management company was very responsive and sent someone out right away. Quiet street but still convenient.

Can’t Get Any Better Than This House!!!

It had more than enough bed rooms, the design and layout of the house was great. The hosts thought of everything. Our group was already trying to plan trips back with their own family and hoping to stay in the house again. We had one issue with cold water in the top floor bathroom, we called and maintenance came right out to fix it. Love love loved this place and everything about it.

Midnight in the Garden of Good & Evil.

Love, love, loved the location. House was as pictured. Great for our group. Loved the back patio. A few small issues. Check in was tricky as we were given the wrong door code. Windows do not open. Toaster did not work. BBQ was weak. But would still recommend had a fabulous time.

Fun for a family weekend

This property is in the perfect neighborhood. Quiet and very quaint. Adorable houses all around. Yet, the house is a 5 minute walk to restaurants and shops and a 10 minute walk from the river. Parking on the street was easy if you need extra spaces as we did. There is a charge from 8am until 8pm daily. Use the app for easy reloading of your time. Sundays are free. My parking total for Friday through Monday was $14.46 using the app. Not sure about the rest of my family, but probably similar. Everything we needed was provided. We emailed for some extra supplies a couple of times, but got immediate responses each time. A couple of excursion recommendations for larger groups...book a tour on the Savannah for Morons trolley. It's a PG-13 comedy tour through Savannah with a little bit of history and a lot of fun. A half day at Tybee is a fun break from the bars and shopping. No more than a 30 minute car ride. I recommend the North Beach access at the Lighthouse and Museum. Hope you enjoy your visit as much as we did.

Amazing House in Downtown Savannah

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the perfect house for our group of 4 couples celebrating my wife's birthday in Savannah. The location is great, on the quite side of downtown but walking distance to everything. The house is great with lots of living space for our group. We originally got the house for five couples but I think that would have been a little much. While the garden unit has two bedrooms, the second is accessed from the first and is only a small room. This unit was amazing for one couple though. In the main house, there are three distinct bedrooms and then a second living room that has a pull out couch. The issue with using it as a bedroom is that it is the only common space with a tv, it also stayed hot in this room. One other thing to not is that the house is on two HVAC units with a thermostat on the bottom and third floor. Once we figured that out, the house was very well cooled for us. Overall a fantastic place to stay and I would recommend it for anyone visiting the area.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, our experience was good. It got off to a rough start, though. We did not receive the access code for the main house as expected which meant that I had to call for it en route from the airport. I was told that it was the same as the garden apt. code (which we had). This was not the case. We waited a fair amount of time before things were sorted out once we got to the house. Secondly, we were not able to park our rental car in the garage as anticipated. I would hope that for the future it could be made more clear in the description that a compact car is needed to utilize the garage. When you are renting a larger home most people will not have a compact car. It created quite a bit of hassle with street parking in terms of keeping the car on the correct side of the street, finding a spot, and needing to pay extra for parking. We were also dismayed to find that the quota of one roll of toilet paper, one dishwasher tab, etc. was not entirely true. We went ahead and purchased ahead of time with delivery made just after we arrived. Never needed those items... Beyond those hiccups, we found the home lovely. Room to spread out as well as congregate. Fun to stay in a home built in 1842 and wonder about who had been there before. Clean, well maintained. Super convenient location and easy to walk to most anywhere.
