Welcome to this charming cottage on beautiful Resarö, in the heart of Vaxholm – the Stockholm archipelago at its very best! Here, you’re just a stone’s throw from the sparkling sea and swimming spots. The location is peaceful and tranquil – perfect for those who want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city without compromising on proximity to conveniences, while still having easy access to the vibrant life of the capital if desired. The cottage is a guest house located on the owner’s property, right next to the main house. Everything is new and fresh, with generous ceiling height creating a spacious feel. It’s equipped with everything you need – a functional kitchen with hotplates, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, and coffee maker, a stylish bathroom, and a living area with a dining table, sofa, and two single beds that offer a comfortable night’s sleep. Two guests stay comfortably in the cottage, and there are two fold-out extra beds available for up to four guests. Outside, you can enjoy a delicious meal or a good cup of coffee while listening to the birdsong, seated at the cozy outdoor furniture and using the grill. The owner also has a wood-fired hot tub and a delightful orangery on the property, which you are welcome to rent upon request for a symbolic fee. Parking is available in the shared driveway. The owner has a cat who may come by for a visit. Within walking distance, in addition to a lovely beach, there’s also a charming summer restaurant called “Paviljongen,” where you can enjoy delicious food and pastries in a pleasant setting. You’ll also find a tennis court and a local ICA grocery store within easy walking distance. The location of this accommodation offers a wide range of excursion opportunities throughout Stockholm and the Roslagen region! In just a few minutes by car, you’ll reach central Vaxholm – where you can stroll through quaint alleys with small shops, dine at archipelago restaurants, or take a ferry further out into the island world or into central Stockholm. Be sure to visit Bogesundslandet, a nearby nature reserve that’s well worth exploring all year round, with its beautiful landscapes, great swimming spots, and picnic areas.
