Wonderful place

Great safe place to dtay on the east side of Glacier Park. Good wifi, smart TV, comfortable bed. Kitchen had several appliances and utensils. Would recommend this to any couple.

Very nice peoperty

The property was just as advertised and perfect for my wife and I. Had just about everything we needed for our stay and visit to Glacier National Park. Owners were very nice. Plenty of room on the property for walks in the woods. Just reember to take the bear spray!!

Leslie and Carl are great host. The Two Medicine Suite at the Lone Elk Lodge is a jewel of a find. They have a beautiful property. We loved the decor and comfy feel of the room. It was the perfect refuge every evening after exploring the park. We appreciate the attention to detail and consideration of the little things like coffee and fresh scones for our first day, bedside electrical extensions, excellent WiFi ( uploaded our photos to the cloud for safe keeping). The guest information book and hiking guides were very useful. WEE had access to their washer and dryer! Only regret - we didn’t get to try their home baked pie. We had a great stay and we’ll be back!

Perfect place to spend a few days while visiting Glacier!

Two Medicine Suite was the perfect spot for my partner and I to stay while visiting Glacier. The unit was very clean and comfortable, with a fully stocked kitchen. The property is beautiful, with lovely panoramic views and walking trails. Leslie and Carl were great hosts--very communicative and helpful. I highly recommend their property!

Carl and Leslie are awesome hosts who go out of their way to make sure your stay is perfect. From fresh baked scones at check in, to suggestions for great hikes. Leslie even loaned me hiking sticks that saved me knees on a tough hike. Great stay!

Cozy accommodations. So adorable and clean. Sitting on the back deck watching the mountains was amazing. The owners and their daughter were so friendly. They were very accommodating. Highly recommended.

Loved our stay

The hosts were so attentive and even left scones in the kitchen for us. The space was perfect, easy to access from East Glacier, and views from the back porch are stunning!

Beautiful location

The unit was well equipped for a long stay. Comfortable and well appointed. The gardens and grounds are beautiful and offer lawn games and fire pit. The hosts were friendly. Perfect location is ideal for visiting Two Medicine area. A little far from Many Glacier entrance to Glacier Nation Park. This would be a great place for family reunion or wedding.

Beautiful stay in East Glacier

We loved our studio at the Lone Elk Lodge - everything was perfect and as described. Being able to cook in the fully equipped kitchen and hang out on the peaceful deck were particular highlights. Many thanks to Carl and Leslie for hosting us and making everything so easy!

Beautiful cabin

We loved our stay in this beautiful cabin-like space. Unlike staying at a hotel, we were able to cook, play yard games, have a campfire, and enjoy beautiful scenery from our porch. Very peaceful!

Perfection

Our stay in the Two Medicine Suite at Lone Elk Lodge provided us with the perfect home base for our adventures. We were very happy with the location , the accommodations were fantastic. We were able to hit the grocery store before driving out to East Glacier and had everything we needed. The hosts are superb and very helpful, providing us some great recommendations.

This place was amazing. We could. To ask for more. Leslie and Carl were great host. The suite was decorated so beautiful with everything we needed for our 5 night stay. The bed was so cozy. The fan was a great added touch. Having our own back porch with a grill and Mountain View made it even more special. If we ever come back we will stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lone Elk Lodge in the Two Medicine Suite. The suite was very comfortable and clean. Carl and Leslie were wonderful hosts! They gave us hiking and fishing recommendations and were very kind! The suite is in a beautiful area and has a gorgeous view from the back porch. It was the perfect place to retreat to after spending long days at Glacier!

Fabulous!

Two Medicine Cabin was clean, well appointed, well supplied, and warm. The hosts are masters at hospitality. Their cordial communications and thoughtful welcome made it a special experience. The location is peaceful and beautiful.

Delightful Cabin

We are so thankful that we found Carl and Leslie’s cabin at Lone Elk Lodge!! It was the perfect setting to relax and take in the beautiful views all around. We looked forward to being back in the cabin after a day in Glacier Park. Carl and Leslie were awesome hosts and made sure we were comfortable.

Perfect location

Perfect location to East Glacier entrance with surrounding nice hikes. The view of the mountains each evening was very relaxing. A big grocery store in Browning was only 15 min away with good prices and an adequate selection. We stayed in Two Medicine-perfect for two people. Very comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed. Leslie was a great host and recommended various hikes to us. We met one of the guest in an adjoining suite and this was their 5th time staying at Lone Elk lodge. I would definitely return!!

Two Medicine stay

The location of this property was great. Leslie & Carl were wonderful to work with. They provided us wood to build a fire in their fire pit, and even blueberry scones for breakfast. Their place was warm and welcoming and the whole stay was great from start to finish!

This was a great location for Glacier and the cabin/lodge was very nice with beautiful views and landscaping. The Two Medicine studio was perfect for my husband and I and we enjoyed having a kitchen with full appliances. Also enjoyed the scones very much!

Carl and Leslie Haggar have lived in East Glacier for over forty years. They love hiking in Glacier Park in the summer and skiing the nearby mountain trails in the winter. Carl is also an avid fisherman and hunter, and loves to share his stories about recreating in this beautiful country. They built a successful woodworking business, manufacturing wooden kitchen products, such as bread knives, cutting boards, and recipe boxes. They have since sold the business, but Carl continues to put his woodworking skills to work by creating cabinets and furniture for their vacation rental. They love to share their favorite haunts with their visitors, and are very knowledgeable about trails, streams, and lakes in the Glacier Park area.

We came here in 1978 to work - and fell in love with the area. We build our home and raised our children here - and love sharing the treasure that we have found. Our property is just outside the southeast boundary of Glacier National Park, and is quick fifteen minute drive to the Two Medicine Entrance. You can access most of the park in an easy drive, which makes our place the ideal location for a Glacier Park adventure.

Our property has breathtaking views of Glacier Park peaks, surrounded by meadows of wildflowers, under a wide Montana sky. It is quiet and country, but not too far from conveniences like restaurants, shops, and activities. We are happy to point you in the direction of our favorite eateries, hikes, and activities. Our horses are usually nearby, and enjoy taking a carrot or an apple from a willing guest.
