My husband, our son and his girlfriend, and our son's best friend went to Ireland to celebrate our son's 26 birthday. The Doonaltan House was a perfect location for a secluded home base. We had breakfast with the cows from the neighboring pasture and and had a lovely tree lined lane to walk to the beach. The house is just beautiful and has all of the conveniences you could want (except a clothes dryer, which we leaned that very few people in Europe have--surprising given the amount of rainy days compared to sunny Arizona!). The Doonaltan House's bright and cheery interior has superb views of the ocean and nearby mountains (along with our bovine friends!). We will definitely be going back!
