Remodel COTTAGE - NEW PHOTOS TO COME - Animal Free Property

Our Cottage is the perfect retreat in Homosassa; giving you a peaceful feeling in a nature's paradise with the adventure of the sea life. We are an animal free property.

We are not on the water, but we have space on the property to park your trailer with boat. Or you can rent one at several local places. We are 1 minutes away River Haven Marina (Boat Rentals/Ramp and 5 Minutes away from MacRae's Marina (Public Boat Ramp and boat rentals).

Every room has been completely remodeled. We renovated the kitchen, all the floors, bathrooms and bedrooms. We have decorated to give you a relaxing feeling the moment you walk into our cottage.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all the amenities and new appliances. Ready for anyone who loves to cook.

First bedroom is over sized room with king bed, Second bedroom has a Queen size bed with full bathroom. Guest bathroom has tub and Shower. The dining table that seats 6 was handmade by my husband, (and now he has to built one for our home😁). The living room has a queen sleeper sofa and a flat screen TV, with basic cable, internet/Wi-Fi available. There is a propane grill outside with a patio set for relaxing cookouts.

All linens are included. Washer & Dryer in the Garage.

The cottage is located just minutes away from Old Homosassa, the historic Yulee Sugar Mill Ruins( built in 1864 ), Homosassa Spring State Wildlife Park, River Haven Marina (Boat Rentals) Public Boat Ramps, Crystal River and many restaurants and pubs to choice from like: The Freezer, Shelly's Seafood Market, Wild Sassa Restaurant, The Shed, and the Riverside Resort. Lots of stores just 2 minutes from the cottage: grocery stores, pharmacies, department stores and more.

Very nice place!

Everything you need provided for. Walk in with your food and you will be good to go. Beautiful tile work, my compliments to the designer making the choices. Kudos to Gayle and Jane for making the place immaculate, very clean. Very close to Homosassa Springs and a quick drive to Crystal River. The garage a great place to store kayaks and bikes if you bring them. Tons of great seafood restaurants in the area. Would rent this one again in a heartbeat.

The check in and check out process was seamless. Marisol was quick and friendly to help when we had issues getting the TV to start. The house was very clean and well equipped. We would for sure stay here again

Very clean and lots of attention to details!

By trade, I am event planner, so details are very important to me and the owner has thought of everything you would need to make your stay comfortable. The house is extremely clean and sanitized. Location was close to stores and check in/out was a breeze. We will definitely book this home again in the future. Thank you for the charming decor and comfortable home feeling.

great place

Very close to publix if you want food and the kitchen has literally everything a normal household kitchen would have. You can essentially prepare any meal with the pans/pots/utensils in the kitchen. The location is ideal nearby restaurants and good golf. would definitely stay again.

A slice of Paradise

We love the area. Have visited several times before. This was the first time we stayed local. Pardon the cliche but the pictures don’t even come close representing how amazing this place is. From the decor to the furnishings and the well appointed kitchen, we had a wonderful time. The location is top notch. We’re already planning our next visit.

Nice place

We loved the beach themed interior. It was well supplied in the kitchen for cooking a variety of meals. Location was easy to find. Exterior was rather basic but the backyard had ample space for enjoying outdoor meals. It is not directly on the water but very close.

Very clean and comfortable

We were very happy there, we stayed in the bigger bedroom with the King bed which I had hoped would have Had the private bath, the small bathroom off the kitchen/living room wasn’t very private! There also wasn’t one single clock in the house! But It was very clean and neat, and we really enjoyed the fire pit!

Simply A Gem!

Starting with the communication process it’s so easy and on point. This house has been renovated but the attention to detail is incredible! We want to hire the contractor or handyman that performed the work here. For our house....There was extra towels, board games, extra toilet paper, we had tuper- wear.....I mean it was like staying at home! Marisol is amazing to work with! Highly recommend this property!

this is a great house, clean and comfortable. everything needed for the stay was available in the house (kitchen stuff, towels, bedding, etc.). the only problem for us was parking the boat/trailer, complicated and delicate operation every time. i would definitively stay there again. thank you guys.

Beautiful unique cottage

The property was adequately equipped and made you feel like you were on a beach vacation. The decor and special touches set it apart from other rental properties that we have stayed in. We came to visit our grandparents during a difficult time and coming back to this warm inviting cottage made the stay a little brighter.

Enjoyable time in Homosassa

We spent a fun four days at this property. As the description states, it is newly renovated. The kitchen was spacious and well stocked with appliances and utensils, and even some coffee, tea and chocolates. Beds and furniture were comfortable and there is good lighting throughout the house. We enjoyed sitting on the patio outside in the side yard. Close to grocery and drug stores. Great property.

Immaculately kept and super cute accommodations! I felt like I was in a home created by Chip and Joanna Gaines! It’s gorgeous! Every little detail has been considered in this cottage and we have everything we needed to be very comfortable during our visit. The refuge in the backyard was a peaceful break for us from all the wedding chaos (we stayed here during my son’s wedding weekend). I can’t say enough wonderful things about this cottage. Loved our stay here! Thank you!!

Relaxing, quiet cottage

This Florida cottage is comfortable, clean and quiet. The renovations were well done. Convenient location for nearby springs and state park. Easy drive to Tampa as well for attractions there. Screened porch a nice bonus. Good value for the amount of space.
