This spacious, family-friendly home sleeps up to 10 guests perfect for group getaways or family holidays. With comfortable bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and cozy living areas, it’s your ideal home away from home. Close to local amenities and the coast.
The Space:
The spacious unit offers comfortable accommodation with 1 king beds and 3 double beds and 1 x single bed, ideal for families or groups. The property features 2 modern bathrooms, ensuring convenience for larger parties. Guests will enjoy a homely atmosphere with generous sleeping arrangements and communal living space. Located in a quiet residential area, it's within walking distance of local shops, transport links, and the town centre. Perfect for short stays or extended visits, the home balances privacy, comfort, and accessibility

From Newcastle (approx. 17 mi / 27 km): Take the A189 northbound — simple dual carriageway for most of the route. At Cowpen, turn onto the A193 into Blyth, then follow local signs toward King’s Terrace and Haughton Terrace.
By Train
Nearest rail station: Newsham (Ashington–Newcastle line). Blyth Bebside station is planned to reopen under the Ashington–Newcastle rail reintroduction scheme
By Bus
The closest stops to Haughton Terrace:
- Prince of Wales (≈ 333 m, ~5 min walk)
- Union Street (≈ 416 m, ~6 min walk)
- Blyth Bus Station (≈ 542 m, ~7 min walk)
Common bus lines include: 2, 309, X8, X9, X10, X11, X7, X30, 308, 1, etc.
Service starts early: the 308 departs around 06:03, with last services around 00:23
To travel from Newcastle, take the X10 or X11 to Prince of Wales/Blyth Bus Station, then walk.

If arriving by train at Newsham or Blyth Bebside, a short taxi (or ride-share if available) from the station is the quickest way—less than 5 minutes to the terrace.
Other Things to Note:
- NO SMOKING INSIDE: We kindly request that smoking be avoided inside the premises. Any indication of smoking will incur a fee of £300 for odor removal, duct cleaning, and furniture cleaning. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
- We do require a separate short term rental agreement to be signed directly with us and a pre-arrival form filled prior to your stay.
- LOST KEYS: If keys are lost, a £100 replacement fee is required.
At Vacant Nests, we’re dedicated to ensuring our property is protected throughout every guest stay. To provide peace of mind for both owners and guests, we require all guests to either have a £400 fully refundable security deposit hold placed on their account or purchase a £40 one-time Accidental Damage Waiver, which covers up to £500 of accidental damage during the stay.
Interaction with Guests:
Interaction with guests will be via booking platform messaging app unless there is an emergency where the host will respond to you via call. Please make first contact via app otherwise we may not pick up your enquiry.
