Super stay

A great place to stay for onetwo nights. We stayed in the Loughrigg room, which was spacious and came with clean bed linen, towels, toiletries, coffee, tea, and delicious biscuits. The room faces the street and has a lovely view from the windows. At night, everything quietens down, so you can sleep well even with the windows open. There's a Greggs nearby with good breakfast options in the morning, and it's close to a variety of shops, delicious ice cream parlours, bars, and restaurants.

Spotlessly clean and nice comfortable bed

Spotlessly clean and nice comfortable bed. Across road from park, 5 minute walk to centre of Ambleside and 2 minutes to main bus terminus so perfect location.

Amazing place

The room (loughrigg) far exceeded our expectations. The cleanliness, size, view, lovely comfy beds. The manager very friendly and approachable. Ww will most definitely return. We’ve stayed in Ambleside many times over the years in many different properties and Kelsick Villa’s is one of the best finds and a real gem of a place.
