The beautiful Forest of Dean is twenty minutes by car, and has multiple walking trails and bicycle hire.
Hay on Wye and Cheltenham are 50 minutes by car. Bristol, Birmingham and Cardiff are approximately one hour away with great road links.
Garden cottage is close to Wye valley walks, and the river Wye. There are multiple local activities and attractions including Cycling, canoeing, fishing and walking.
Or you could just sit in the garden and listen to the birds in the woodland next door.
