We are a family-run business based in the beautiful nature of Drenthe, where we have been welcoming groups for many years. What we enjoy most is creating a place where people can truly relax, connect and make lasting memories together.

Our location by the water and close to the forest is something we are proud of every day. We love seeing guests enjoy the space, the peace and the outdoors – whether that’s during a family weekend, a trip with friends or a stay with colleagues.

As hosts, we focus on comfort, quality and a warm welcome. At the same time, we value the tranquility of the surroundings, which is why Het Voshuys is not suitable for parties. It’s the perfect place for groups who want to unwind and spend meaningful time together.

What we enjoy most is the sense of peace and freedom here. You can start your day with a walk through the forest, spend time by the water, and end the evening watching the sunset over the lake. It’s a place where you naturally slow down and reconnect.

At the same time, the area offers plenty of possibilities for activities, making it suitable for both relaxation and more active group stays. This balance is exactly what makes this location so special to us – and to our guests.
